POSTS STORIES REELS

My photo albums just shared these clip of memories with me and it just lights my soul on fire. This morning I was able to run more than walk and it’s a reminder that we get knocked down at times but we get back up and keep going. I am so grateful for these memories. I love training more than a race itself. I get to really showcase my work ethic and consistency when it’s go time and this why I never allow a race to define me, what defines me is my dedication to myself and my life goals. The finish line means more to me when all the work is done, I just show up every single day for myself and it naturally shows on race day. I accomplish each goal I set out with dignity and pride.

Thank you for these video clips that were shared by my team at states who I also consider family. I acknowledge that you all show up for me too.

This finish means more to me now than ever.

Nothing is ever guaranteed in a hundo. We could be in top shape, be totally prepared and something still goes wrong. Always have to problem solve when issues arise. But one thing is for sure, I had the best team to get me to the finish line.
Wifey crew chief took care of me along with my Nat and the boys breaking up aid stations and not missing a beat. Wifey @helenchristoni taped me up after my ankle roll and a couple of hard times but @timchristoni pushed me from Foresthill to Rocky Chucky. Passing a grip of men 😅

@marv_elous1 took over at Rucky Chucky and gave me kind but tough love to at least shuffle when I’d slowed down.

Volunteers gave all of us the star treatment at every single station.

@wser is not only the most epic race and legendary but it’s the most well put together race I’ve ever experienced in my life.

I had to finish this race no matter what. I could not let my team down, my supporters, everyone who was pulling for me and cheering me on from day one. This was for you. But mostly this was for Natalie. For Nat to want to be there for me and be a part of this race and just understand the extent of grind and work it takes to run 100 miles is so unbelievably touching. We are closer than ever after this experience.

I don’t care what went wrong or how I struggled to get to the finish. What I care about is the epic experience and how I got here, the work and the journey. Everyone that has helped me piece by piece day after day. This finish is for you.

Throwback to UTMB 2019 by @fitvivruns

Didnt video the conditioning part of the work out cuz it was for time and I completed it under the 11 min cap 🙌 Plus I had a Front Squat PR. It’s been over a year and just making small victories. This has been a long process for me but hey I’m still showing up and doing my best and improving little by little. by @fitvivruns

Great workout 🏋🏻‍♀️ Wednesday night @insurgentathletics and a double for today. Was very motivated tonight that I left work jumped on fwy in the rain and made it from Union station to Walnut in less than an hour. No I was not speeding 😬 it was worth it! by @fitvivruns

Throwback to AC100 2017 !!! My second 100 miler and my most successful hundred miler to date. In 2016 I had the honor to pace 50 miles of the course. My very first pacing job and went big! My runner really believed in me. So in 2017 I got to race it myself. Super confident and well trained. I finished it under 28 hours and 4th female. In 2018 I crewed/paced first leg. In 2019 I crewed/paced to the finish. I’ve volunteered once after that. This year I get to crew and pace again but not only do I get to pace my bestie which Im so excited about. I also get to witness a lot of my girls take on our local mountains, our playground, where we’ve shared miles, laughs and epic memories. I’m so stoked for my girls to be out there sharing the dirt and footsteps all at the same time. @therealdeela @joannaz88 @mee_mooch @daisypzee wishing you all a fantastic race.

I’m rooting for all of you and for all the other ladies toeing the line as well. We ladies are showing up taking up space, making history and inspiring more women who dream to do big things in this community. There are almost 60 females on the roster due to start.

May the trail angels guide you on your journey. I will cheer you all on. There is no I’m only on one team here. I am here to support and love on all my girls! Beasts! And Queens! 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️ 💃💃💃 💃 👑 👑 👑 👑

LETS GET IT! by @fitvivruns

Mt. Disappointment did not disappoint 😅
My girls and I ran this race this past weekend. Yesi and Geraldine and I signed up for the 25k and Arlene the 50k. We had a blast post finish, celebrating birthdays and our finishes. During was fun too but that last couple of miles of the climb up Kenyon Devore to Wilson sure had me second guessing my choices 😂

It’s been a slow start back for me this year. Canyons 100k in April was too big of a goal for me and had a little set back. Training has been a gradual improvement after that. Trained smarter and kept it under 50 mile weeks.
So getting 4th female was an amazing feeling. I felt so good out there. I ran and found myself really enjoying it again. I think shorter distances is a good start for me right now. I’m super happy with my results. I wish I can do more but baby steps. Maybe next year I can go back to longer distances 😆

Race took place on Saturday, September 26 on Gary’s birthday our previous race director and Trail angel. I thought of him out there and spoke to him. I thanked him for giving me strength out there and for finding joy, for I really appreciated every single mile. No knee issues during nor post which is a huge win.

Training has been good this season. I hope 🤞🏽 this is for good. As long as I continue strength training and my frequent visits with @release_is_peace and @vision4enrichment I’m confident I will soon return to more challenging distances and even better results 🙏🏽 by @fitvivruns

An early birthday little planned road trip turned into an amazing adventure and beautiful bonding time with my BFF. We so needed this little time away. We had a great time. No rushing, no hurry to be somewhere or up at a certain time, or trying to do everything in two days. We explored we ate we rested. We talked, reminisced, laughed and caught up on life. I love you @oneflo_j
Hope we do this again, make it a tradition to travel different destinations as I miss our travels together ❤️
