Last night was incredible. We laughed, we sang and had the absolute best time. Thank you to the @rady_jcc for having us! It was an honour to curate “The Jewish Soul of Rock and Roll” for you. Music is so special and I pinch myself everyday that I get to do this for a living with these wonderful gentlemen🩷 #flatlandfamous #lisawindsor #winnipegmusic #winnipegevents #winnipeg #hallelujah #leonardcohen #jfest #mach10 by @flatlandfamous
What is "The Jewish Soul of Rock N Roll?" So many iconic bands and recording artists and the songs they've created have come from Jewish individuals - Geddy Lee, David Lee Roth, Gene Simmons, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Carol King - the list goes on and on! During JFest WPG at the Rady JCC, Flatland Famous is bringing these hits to life at a concert specifically curated for the event. In this special episode of RadyCAST, Chris sits down with Lisa Windsor of Flatland Famous (also known to a lot of Winnipeggers as the house band for the Jets - Mach 10) and we discuss the band, the show, and musical inspiration through the ages. It's a great conversation, and it's going to be an even better concert! (Don't adjust your social medias - this is an audio-only interview!) See Flatland Famous perform The Jewish Soul of Rock N Roll at 7:30 p.m. this Thursday, November 6 at the Rady JCC. Tickets at the link in our bio! [And get more RadyCAST by subscribing wherever you get your podcasts!) @flatlandfamous @lisamwindsor #JFestWPG #radyjcc #events #concerts by @flatlandfamous
