BEHIND THE BRANDS: A Conversation on Fashion, Luxury, Entertainment & Tech

From the brands we admire to the platforms and entertainment that shape culture, there is a team of legal professionals working behind the scenes to make it all happen.

On October 22, the Fashion, Luxury, and Beauty Black Legal Alliance (FLBBLA) partnered with Covington & Burling LLP for a conversation exploring the intersection of law, business, creativity, and culture.

We were honored to hear from an incredible panel of industry leaders:

• Rachelle LaRoche — Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH)
• Maya Day — Netflix
• Khalila Blake — NBCUniversal
• Anna Nikolayeva — TikTok

Thank you to our distinguished panelists for sharing your experiences, insights, and advice with the next generation of legal professionals. Your perspectives offered a valuable look into the work happening behind some of the world’s most influential brands and platforms.

A special thank you to Covington & Burling LLP for collaborating with FLBBLA to bring this conversation to life, and to everyone who attended and contributed to such a meaningful discussion.

At FLBBLA, we believe that the relationships we build across industries can create opportunities, strengthen our community, and shape the future of the professions behind culture.

This is what happens when we bring the right people into the room. And we’re just getting started.
