Yasemin Talat is the Founder and Sole Director of Flex & Flow Pilates, a female-only boutique Reformer Pilates business founded in Melbourne in 2019. She is also a proud mum of three daughters.

When Yasemin founded Flex & Flow, Pilates was yet to become the mainstream movement it is today, with boutique studios largely concentrated in inner-city suburbs. She saw an opportunity to make Pilates more accessible to women in Melbourne’s west and north-west, bringing the benefits of movement, strength and connection closer to home. She also recognised another important gap in the industry: the need for dedicated, female-only spaces where women of all backgrounds could feel comfortable, confident and genuinely supported. Bringing these two visions together, Yasemin created one of Melbourne’s first female-only boutique Reformer Pilates studios, helping pave the way for even more of an inclusive approach to Pilates.

From the beginning, Yasemin’s ambition has been to build Melbourne’s leading female-only Pilates business: a place truly created by women, for women. She believes that building a successful business starts with genuinely understanding the people and communities you serve. For Yasemin, Flex & Flow was never just about creating beautiful spaces. It was about creating places where women could reconnect with themselves, clear their minds, move their bodies with confidence and feel a genuine sense of belonging. by @flex.flow.pilates

The sweetest bond 🥹💕💚

We absolutely LOVE supporting our members through all the different stages of life, and pregnancy is such a special one!

Our beautiful Chloe chats with our gorgeous member Melis, who is currently 29 weeks pregnant. It’s been an absolute pleasure watching her continue to thrive, grow stronger and feel supported throughout her pregnancy.

Because at Flex & Flow, it’s about so much more than Pilates. It’s about feeling SAFE, SUPPORTED, SUCCESSFUL and SEEN through every chapter of life. 🌿

We’re so grateful to be part of your journey, Melis! 💚 by @flex.flow.pilates
