We talk a lot about the recall. But another set of cues matters as much - the Stop cue.

Three underrated things an e-collar can fix. Number 1 is every dog owner's nightmare.

1. Jumping up on people. My friends' dogs jump up on people all the time: "He just wants to say hi". Many people will get upset by that. A well-timed cue teaches four paws on the floor.

2. Eating unspeakable. Yep, some dogs love it. And usually they master the skill to do it quick before you reach them. You can't be beside your dog every second on a walk, but your e-collar can be.

3. Rolling into unspeakable. The dog was just sniffing - and the next second he rolls into it. That one moment is all you have to avoid the emergency bath.

Good e-collar training needs good contact. A Flex Collars bungee strap keeps the contacts in place. A clear communication channel with your dog starts with an e-collar + the strap that keeps it in place 🐾 flexcollars.com

Loving my new bungee collar from @flexcollars super quick and easy to put on and comfy too! Big thank you to my favourite dog trainer @forgeandleadk9 for the discount code! #weimaranersofinstagram #flexcollars #ecollartraining #forgeandleadk9 by @flexcollars

Handsome Dobermann Opie wearing his new FlexCollar in Black.

Look how happy he is! In his owner’s words: “Just a happy boy loving his life of freedom at last. We’re really had a tough few months but so proud to say that we’re back to loving life 🥰”

All dogs - big and small - need to run and exercise. But everyone would agree that for large breeds like Dobermann, it is especially important.

Opie and his owner @jax_cocker_opie_dobie use an e-collar solution. And FlexCollar strap plays its small part in providing reliable contact and comfort for the dog.

Happy days!

Meet Runa in her new FlexCollar in Black. According to her owner there is “no more worrying that it moves”.

Reliable contact is important, and the bungee strap is what makes it work when most needed.

Many thanks to her owner Kristina for sharing a photo with us ♥️

Australian Labradoodle wears DogTra Tom Davis and FlexCollar strap.

The strap is made from durable mil-spec materials. The elastic element is strong, keeps its shape and remains soft enough to let the dog breathe.

Quick-release buckle to take the collar on/off easily.

Many thanks to u/dogtra_uk for providing us with Tom Davis e-collar to test-fit on various dogs 🐶

This is Toby, a Border Terrier cross that has a serious prey drive.

We know many terriers similar to Toby. Yes, they are small dogs and can't catch a deer. But they will chase a deer/ rabbit/ livestock for hours. They will run across the road, disappear in the forest and be completely deaf to their owner's recall.

After giving their owners hard times, they are put on a lead for the rest of their life.

But even small dogs need exercise, especially highly active terriers. They need to sniff, play with other dogs, run around and somehow be under control.

How to achieve both?

Sounds like magic for those who don't know about responsible e-collar training.

This chap was lucky to attend a training with @enrich.k9

Now he wears DogTra 640X + FlexCollar strap, listens to his owners and enjoys life off-leash without getting into trouble.

Serious dogs wear heavy e-collars and Super Heavy straps.

This handsome Rottweiler wears DogTra 1200X to match his needs, and we recommend using our Super Heavy straps to hold the unit in place.

1. This mode has a bigger quick-release buckle.
2. Double layer holds the unit in place
3. Special texture of the webbing stops the unit from rotation
4. Elastic gives comfort for dogs

RESULT?
The unit stays put, the strap provides reliable contact and the owner has a peace of mind

Many thanks to @dogtra_uk for lending us DogTra 1200x
