Few months ago I had the joy of being invited by my great friends and label heads, Oldschool_Dubtechno Producer, to remix one of their tracks for their fantastic album Expedition to Lagrange V. Poscriptum. "Back to 1986" was the chosen track, for which I tried to provide two different visions: one more minimalist and introspective, and the other, building on the subtly rhythmic cadence of the original, a version that explores the dancefloor from a groovier, more mechanical, and powerful approach. To my surprise, the guys decided to include both versions. 🤯 I am deeply honored and grateful to @x_fr and @enercube for the invitation and the love shown to my work. 🙏 It is always an honor and a joy to contribute to the work of friends and to share a release with other great artists. 🙌 Below you will find the text of the official release and the link to get it. PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB proudly presents the 119th release in its catalogue: Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer — Expedition to Lagrange V. Postscriptum. After the Lagrange V expedition returned, the mission archive proved to be far more complex than expected. Along with the primary recordings, the station brought back additional signals — reflections, retransmissions, and alternate versions of events that had emerged at different points along the route. Postscriptum is the decoding of eleven such fragments. Eleven works form a feedback map: each remix changes the shape of the signal while preserving its source. The expedition returned. So did the signal. Now we can hear not only the journey there, but the way back as well. FloorFan, in Memories Reshape, reconstructs the same signal from distorted layers of memory. FloorFan Groove Mix 1 discovers a new, stable pulse within the temporal shift. Dub techno, deep techno, techno, drum n bass, and ambient function here as different communication protocols: the same archive passes through different speeds, spaces, and states. https://www.beatport.com/es/release/expedition-to-lagrange-v-postscriptum/7589118 by @floorfan
FloorFan — Soul Of Chamangá comes from Montevideo, Uruguay, and leads Avelatus toward Chamangá — an area of ancient rock art where geometric signs, lines, dots, and network-like forms created long before the modern map of the world have survived on exposed granite surfaces. (...) the chieftain Chamangá, who chose death rather than surrender to the conquerors, while according to tradition his soul still appears among the rocks as a mysterious light on dark and stormy nights. Soul Of Chamangá therefore becomes one of Avelatus's most ancient coordinates in terms of memory — a signal in which contemporary electronic music meets stone, red pigment, resistance, and a legend that continues to guard the traces of the ancestors. PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB is tremendously pleased to present the 120th release — Global Dub Coordinates VA: Avelatus Dub Techno Star Collection, Vol. 2 The second constellation of Global Dub Coordinates is called Avelatus. Thirteen more points on the global dub techno map connect Germany, Russia, Uruguay, Greece, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada, but behind each coordinate lies more than simply the place where an artist lives — there is a specific landscape, a memory, a legend, or a personal connection to a city. If Nozarum opened the system, Avelatus takes it deeper — from urban noise and shores familiar since childhood to ancient sanctuaries, rock markings, and places where geography gradually transforms into memory. Avelatus is the second of the nine constellations of Global Dub Coordinates. 13 artists. 13 places. 13 sonic points where personal memory, ancient legends, urban spaces, and real coordinates merge into a single system. Seven constellations still lie ahead — and the geometry of 117 points continues to expand. The next coordinate is already active. by @floorfan
FloorFan - Odyssey Book 20 - [Superordinate Dub Waves] (UK) www.beatport.com/es/release/odyssey/5731242 A Dub Techno Odyssey is a compilation that takes listeners on a journey through the mythic landscapes of Homer's Odyssey, transforming its ancient story of adventure and return into immersive and meditative soundscapes. Each track represents a different phase of Odysseus's long voyage home, reimagined by producers from around the world, all united by a shared passion for deep dub techno rhythms. The concept was envisioned by Francesco Tamburrano, who sought to blend the timeless themes of Homer's epic with the hypnotic pulses and atmospheric layers of dub techno, creating a unique fusion of literature and sound. The project came to life in collaboration with Superordinate Dub Waves, known for its commitment to experimental and visionary music that transcends borders. The result is a captivating and immersive sonic journey, where rolling basslines, reverberating echoes, and distant, otherworldly tones guide the listener through Odysseus's odyssey. From the perilous encounters with the Cyclops to the seductive allure of the Sirens, each track evokes the mythic and transformative moments of the hero's quest, while maintaining the deep, meditative atmosphere that defines dub techno. This compilation offers a contemporary reflection on the timeless human journey "" a sonic pilgrimage where the struggle to return home is met with both divine interference and inner revelation, echoing the eternal themes of perseverance, wisdom, and self-discovery. by @floorfan
