Introducing Florien Hazenberg ( @flootjehaas ) an artist and curator currently based in Amsterdam. After completing her Curatorial Masters at Bath School of Art & Design ( @mabathschoolofartanddesign ) (2025). She’s been in a variety of group shows including ‘Tree’ at Roseberry Road ( @roseberryroadstudios ) (2025) and ‘Doing Together 25 (MA Fine Art: Practice Research)’, curated by Hazenberg alongside Alisha Stokes ( @alisha.stokes.art ) at Bath Spa University (2025)’

Florien Hazenberg’s sculpture highlights the interplay of material, construction and texture that reveal the creative process. By creating her own display structures, she blurs the boundary between artwork and the curation, favouring physical interaction which elicits dialogue and conversation.

A glimpse into the Group exhibition “Tree” @roseberryroadstudios

An exhibition bringing together the works of 7 different artists. All using the theme of the tree in different ways.

A selection of my sculptures are also part of the exhibition. Joining a wider conversation between art, nature, and perspectives. by @flootjehaas

Dynamic Willow (I,II & III)
Three wooden mobiles inspired by the gentle movement of tree branches in the wind. Crafted from willow cuttings, each mobile explores organic form and balance. A hag stone hangs at the bottom of each piece, serving as an anchor that stabilises the work and acts as a natural focal point.

Together with 7 other artists, I was invited to be part of
the group exhibition “Tree” @roseberryroadstudios in
Bath.

I included 8 sculptures in this exhibition that use the
tree both as inspiration and material. by @flootjehaas

Tree Rings Tryptich
I sanded down the outer surface of these three wooden disks, sourced from a tree that had to be cut down in my neighbourhood. I uncovered traces of time embedded within the wood, growth rings and subtle marks that tell the story of its life.

Together with 7 other artists, I was invited to be part of the group exhibition “Tree @roseberryroadstudios in Bath.

I'm very excited to say that I'm going to be part of this group exhibition at @roseberryroadstudios in Bath. I’ll be showing several sculptures as part of the exhibition "Tree" and I can’t wait to share them. Hope to see some of you there! by @flootjehaas
