Peace is the result of retraining your mind🧠 to process life as it is; rather than how it should be.

Just the night sky doing her thang… All taken on an iphone 15 Pro by @flower_child1113

My 13 reasons….I did it, I drove across the country. 🤌🏼
1.-The smokey Mountains STOLE my 🫶!
2.-Dollywood is ONLY an amusement park, but the 40 miles of highway that surrounded it are full of wonder, joy and magic. 👌
3.- Tennessee may be longer than Pennsylvania But there’s a buc-ee’s 😮‍💨.
4.-If you get to Graceland at 7:30 am you can you go to the burial site for free😉.
5.-There’s always something happening on Bourbon Street, best people watching of your life will happen there, i promise 👏.
6.-Texas I have 3 things to say… “I’m allowed to go in, THIS IS TEXAS BITCH!” , “Friend.” and last, but certainly not least, a moment I will replay in my head for all of eternity; “GET THIS BODY CLINGER OFF MY BODY!” 🤣
7.-Finally got 1 Route off my bucket list.
8.- Iphone’s can actually take photos of the night sky- see next post for that, it deserves its own post😮‍💨👌.
9.-Mesa Verda National Park- WHY HAVE I NEVER HEARD OF YOU!!!! -I will be back to do every tour you offer!
10.- 4 corners was honestly meh, if you like hiking go early so you can do the rim trail.
11. - Painted desert and Petrified Forest just 😘. I could live in a little hut on the side and i’d be happy to note every change on the logs for the rest of my days.
12.-Miss Grand Canyon- I’ll catch you on a higher visibility day just you wait🤣.
13.-Always detour, it’s never about the destination. It’s always about the journey…. we would’ve missed so many amazing things if we didn’t do side quest at every possible moment we got, like; trying to catch animals on the side of the highway and again on route 66. Backtracking an hour and a half, just to see a new National Park, or completely diverting the trip and taking things off the “list” to add new ones in.
I learned for me it is never about the destination it has and always will be about the journey. 😘 by @flower_child1113
