POSTS STORIES REELS

Happy 10 years of Titanfall 2! Still remember seeing the original adds for Titanfall 1 and being gutted that I lived to far out in the sticks to have decent enough internet to play it. Took me longer than most to getting around to TF2, but it still sits with me as one of my favourite single player campaigns, and one of the first games I was ever pushed to platinum on PlayStation. Titanfall 2 has also been the my first real push into the semi-serious cosplay sphere, Cooper being my most long running and most intensive cosplay to date. Hoping for TF3 one day but till then enjoying looking at the dope people and things I got to do because of this sick franchise!

fem folks are the personification of strength, beauty, wit and insight. Shoutout to all the fems in my life and that I've cosplayed!

(I know the crop on Camilla's photo goofed 😭 I swear it wasn't like that when I was editing this 😭)

Liam: Had to make a post highlighting the awesome duo shots @kardions_ and I got as Jack Cooper and Ghostrunner. Recommended the campaign on a whim and didn’t realise how much you’d be smitten with the story (though, I guess it was unavoidable, given the game in question). So incredibly touched you felt inspired to dive into not just the game but a full cosplay. And what an awesome and niche take on a TF2 cosplay, leave it to you! Once again, thank you @rotidemedia for bringing the shoot to life!

Lex: No other pilot I’d rather have watching my back!

I can’t thank @flyting_words enough for not only introducing me to Titanfall 2, but for doing this duo with me 🫶

Liam inspires me as a creative and a person, so doing this with him was exciting, fulfilling and an overall incredible experience! His love for this game shines through his Cooper cosplay; he truly brings John Titanfall to life. Now I just need to improve my Ghost Runner for the next time we do a TF2 duo!

Thank you, Liam, for being a conduit for new experiences and for indulging me and my silly/spur of the moment ideas 😆 and thank you to Justin for capturing these memories!

(Also, fun fact: I printed the Smart Pistol! I mixed some baking soda with my gold paint to match the texture in the official art!)

The photos from @kardions_ (thank you for the smart pistol btw 🙏) and my shoot with the extraordinarily talented @rotidemedia are out and I can’t keep sitting on these. Was a tough time picking which I wanted to post first but I’m gonna try and pace myself with em, as much as I’d like to post another 10+ photos at once lol. Only my second ever formal shoot (funny enough both were with Cooper) and despite having to peel the flight suit off me after the fact, it was a blast. Stormy conditions be damned, had a great backup location in the tunnels underneath the Palais des Congrès. Made me feel like I was right back in Complex from multiplayer. Be sure to watch for @kardions_ Ghost Runner shots, was such a cool and unique TF2 cosplay! Gonna look through the duo shots this weekend and get a few of em out to ya’ll soon. #titanfall #titanfall2 #cosplay #otakuthon by @flyting_words

Otakuthon photo dump. Had a fantastic time taking in my first ever out of province con. Love Montreal and had a great time being back in the city and hanging around in costume all weekend. Heat might have snuck up on me, and as usual I blame myself for my lack of summer appropriate cosplays, gotta get on fixing that. This was also my last con (over here at least) before I ship off for the UK for a year. Hoping to keep doing a little cosplay over there but it’ll depend on how busy the classes keep me. As always, was great to see all the folks I did, an honour to witness all the amazing talent firsthand, and thank you for the love my silly little costumes received! Thank you @kardions_ for being my double (both as a Loki variant and ghost runner) and being an impromptu photographer. Please let me know if I have mis-tagged or missed tagging anyone here. #otakuthon #otakuthon2026 #loki #titanfall #cosplay by @flyting_words

“Do not be fooled by my smile. I am indeed a liar, a trickster, a mischief maker, and a scoundrel!”

When I set out to make my Robe of Relaxation Loki, just thought he’d be something fun for Yeticon. Seems a little too perfect that @marvelrivals would run their Summer Splash Cosplay Contest. Not upset I have another reason to throw him on and hit the beach.

This was a fun build. Definitely challenged me as a crafter, and pushed what I’d normally be comfortable cosplaying (though I’ve desperately needed some lighter cosplays 😅). Was only my second ever “from scratch” sewing project so it was another opportunity to learn, and certainly learned what works and what doesn’t. Got to revisit some 3D printing, and familiarize myself with some new foam crafting techniques. Hit a number of roadblocks while making this, but managed to troubleshoot or at the very least adapt my vision to what was doable and still very happy with how it all came out. Wouldn’t say humbling but definitely helped ground my perfectionism, hoping to hold onto that as I move onto my next project. It’s not perfect, but it’s mine. Overall I enjoyed this build, taught me a lot as a crafter. Am already thinking how I’d improve, but considering everything, very happy with how it came out and have appreciated all the love it’s been given.

Want to thank @kardions_ for lending their photography and editing skills to make this shoot happen.

Can’t spell believe without a little “lie”. Thank you @thewish01 for the fantastic photos from Yeticon’s Frostfire Gala. Also thanks to @kardions_ for the fun duo shots as Queen Marika, guess if there was ever anyone to stand beside the King of Asgard and President of Midgard 😆. Loved this year’s Asgard theme, unsurprising to see so many other wonderful Loki variants there. What can I say? Loki is in fashion. #MarvelRivals #marvelrivalscosplay #loki #presidentloki #cosplay by @flyting_words

Going through the photos from the little shoot we had to round out Sunday of #animenorth . Thank you to @ehokaycosplay for once again indulging me and lending their photography skills. Finally have some posed photos of my fav pyro hobo wizard. Despite the rain on Saturday, another fun Anime North experience. Got to see so many familiar faces and get acquainted with some new ones, you all were awesome! Had a blast making it out to the CR meetup Sunday and hanging with all the Critters who came out. Genuinely made my day that some of you still had the flexi-Frumpkins from last year. Looking forward to seeing the photos from that! #criticalrole #criticalrolecosplay #calebwidowgast #mightynein by @flyting_words

A few photos from the impromptu shoot after Toronto Game Expo on Sunday. Want to thank the very talented @ehokaycosplay for being I think even more excited about the shoot than me 😆. Was super fun to pull Cooper out for the Sunday. Didn’t even get to touch half the improvements for him I had in mind for the winter but appreciated all the love he received regardless. Was such a blast to mull about and rub shoulders with all the awesome and talented cosplayers and peeps that were at TGE, always an inspiration! "Trust me pilot..." there are still Titanfall fans out there, who's patiently waiting for the third game... 💀

Have been so stoked to see the photos I got with @thewish01 and the wait was def worth it (thank you again for them). Was super excited to show off my improved (not completed) Jack Cooper at #torontogameexpo and super appreciated all the love he got. Very happy with how the new chest piece and visor came out.
Had a blast at the expo as a first time attendee. Got to meet some new folks and run into some peeps from past events, all so awesome and talented. This has done nothing but get me all fired up for continued work on Cooper, and also some projects I wanna have (at least started 😅) for next con season in the spring! #titanfall2 #titanfallcosplay #cosplay #cosplayphotography by @flyting_words
