Anglesey Coastal ✅🏁
A weekend to forget as the chequered flag flys over the weekend for another round of the @focuscupracing championship. It was our first time at the track and I was just off the pace although I actually liked the track 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.

Quali: P9 (P4 Rookie) - A pretty average qualifying for me but a little bit disappointing from the pace. 🫠

Race 1: P7 (P2 Rookie) - A solid race to gain 2 positions, however just one short of P6 where we could start P1 for race 2. 📈

Race 2: P8 (P4 Rookie) 📈- This race was a struggle, we started P12 due to the reverse 🔄 grid and didn’t make the overall takes quick enough to catch up to the front pack.

Race 3: P4 (P2 Rookie) 🤩 - This was my best drive of the season by miles. I started P11 due to the reverse grid and managed to make my way up 7 positions in my car which really struggled around this track. It took 3 races but I have finally put myself into a position I think I should be around. 📈

Race 4: P7 (P3 Rookie) 📉 - It was all too good to be true. I started P3 on the grid and managed to get a good launch off the line, however I then missed a gear into 3rd which ruined any chance of me getting a podium 😢. The whole race a tried to catch up to the pack but It wasn’t enough. On a more positive note, this race I had an amazing battle with @adamwinter06 where we were side by side for almost the full lap.

Overall it was a weekend to forget (apart from race 3 😂) the pace wasn’t there and neither was the car but at least we still managed to keep P4 in the championship and continue to lead the rookie championship. I want to say a huge thank you to my mechanics 🧰 as they worked tirelessly to try and get my car suited to the track.

So now its goodbye Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and hello Croft 🏁🏁
