So yesterday i played for my @durhamwfc U12 Academy against a good boys team. Having been poorly all week and missing our away game against Derby, it was good to be back on the grass and in the squad.. From the ko we played some lovely football, our passing and movement was on point, but the boys went ahead against the run of play!! The girls heads didnt drop and we went into half time level at 1-1... I came on at half time and played center back. We were straight at them and out played and out battled the lads.. going on to score another 4 goals.... and not conceding any..in the last 10 mins i was moved to play striker.. and i really enjoyed it going close a couple times.. Then after a great clearance from our keeper, I picked the ball up, just over half way, went past 1 defender and then another.. and hit a lovely shot from the corner of the box across goal that went in of the post...⚽️ What a way to round the week offπŸ™ŒπŸ˜€ A well deserved 6-1 win ⚽️πŸ”₯ Super proud of all my teammates πŸ’–βš½οΈπŸ’™ #girlsfootball #footyislife by @footy_olivia9

So yesterday i played for my ncju11s team against the boys. We started slowly and conceded 2 early goals, we gradually got back in the game by playing some good football. We pulled a goal back after I beat the offside ran on to a pass rounded the keeper and slotted the ball home with my left foot ⚽️ Shortly after we conceded another goal and eventually lost 3-1... I played striker and i was happy with my performance, leading the line, holding the ball up well and bringing others into play at the right time. πŸ˜€ I also had a perfectly good goal ruled out for offside... πŸ™„ πŸ˜ƒ Goals ⚽️ #footballislife #girlsfootball by @footy_olivia9
Today after my football game, I went down to spennymoor to support one of my @durhamwfc coaches @elliewise.x who plays for spennymoor town ladies. It was an amazing experience meeting up with my friends in the U10 team, we got to be flag wavers, met the players and got our face painted. Thanks so much for sorting this Ellie I absolutely loved it πŸ’–βš½οΈ On to the fooball, spennymoor ladies outplayed their opponents today coming away with a convincing 4-0 win..πŸ”₯ With Ellie getting the forth goal after winning a penalty, she confidently slotted the ball home late in the game.. ⚽️ by @footy_olivia9
Today is show Racism the red card day. And as a young footballer I believe Racism has no place in football or in life πŸ’– It doesn't matter what colour your skin is, where you come from or what you look like.. we should all be treated equally. I want everyone to feel safe when they step onto the pitch.⚽️ We play football because we love the game, and Racism should never take that away from anyone.πŸ’–βš½οΈ I made some posters myself for my school to help get the message out there 😊 ONE TEAM, ONE GAME.... NO ROOM FOR RACISM.... SHOW RACISM THE RED CARD πŸ’― #footyislife #footballplayer #footballgirls⚽️ by @footy_olivia9

Today i played for my @durhamwfc U12s Academy team against a good and technical boys team. We started slow and gave away 2 early goals, then we reset and played some lovely football. We created loads of chances but didn't convert them and the lads went on to win... Today played center back and striker... And was happy with my performance... And it was great to have some of our U10s come along to support us today.. πŸ’―πŸ’–βš½οΈπŸ’™ Afterwards I went to support our U10s girls , who were amazing today and got themselves a much deserved 2-1 win πŸ”₯ UP THE DUZZA πŸ’―πŸ’–βš½οΈπŸ’™ #girlsfootball #footballislife by @footy_olivia9
