I may not be as fast as AI, but I sure don’t drink as much water. ☕️
I’m here to make all your doodle dreams come true. ✍️

POSTS STORIES REELS

While creating these for @forbikes.ca, I was thinking about all the ai posters being used. They feel soulless and lack the individuality and personality that so many businesses have. I totally understand why ai is being used, but it’s making businesses all look the same. We’re lucky to have creatives under our roof at FOR, so for these, I truly wanted to create something that felt handmade and captured the vibe our amazing staff.

“Low Income Housing”

I drew these during art school when it was announced that the city would be cutting low income housing from the promise that was part of the bid to build for the Olympics. The bid started with thousands of units, then reduced to 250 then again to 125. Then these remaining spaces went to “workforce housing” at market rates. Meaning none of the promised housing went to low-income families, seniors or persons at risk. by @fordoodles_

Created for a wee one’s nursery🦊

The best way to indoctrinate your littles into loving nature as much as you do is to surround them with it.

Tour De Gnarnaimo is back! Are you ready for another 65 km suffer fest… I mean fun fest?! Complete the challenge and get a sweet T-shirt! (Sizes are limited, so the sooner you do it, the more likely you’ll get the size you want. Shirts are on their way)

Here’s the gist:

Ride a minimim of 1km of trail up or down in each of the following zones in Nanaimo including riding between and linking up all the zones via pedal power.

The zones:

-Westwood, Doumont, Linley Valley, Colliery Dam, The Abyss/Extension, Ridgerunner and South Benson.

Same rules apply as last year:
-No car rides between zones, must be pedalled and completed in one day.

-1km up or down in each zone on singletrack/MTB trails. (Paved/FSRs don’t count)

-Must be a complete circular loop.

-E bikes allowed but you cannot recharge.

-Must show evidence of your ride in the form of strava or something similar.

-If your name is Andrew Hamilton @andyhammy you have to do two laps in one day. Could he do more?!

-Create your own route and start/finish where you like so long as all the boxes are ticked.

Check out our website for an example route!

Custom helmet for our customer @matt_wota. Matt requested some flowers to be added, and I took it from there.

Hey🙋‍♀️

It’s me. Christine from @forbikes.ca! I’m an Emily Carr graduate that became a bike shop owner. I’ve been absolutely loving creating art for the shop and realized that I need more of that in my life. So…. If you like art and hate AI slop, I’m here for you.

This is a super random collection of images to show who I am as an artist. To sum it up, it like doodles to detailed drawings. I’m a fan of dabbling and changing things up.
