‘Towers & Tenements’
60cmx80cm Acrylic on Canvas Original Painting

A larger studio based piece from my current solo show ‘Somewhere Between Here & There’ now coming into its last 10 days @forestarts_nm. This is one of a couple of pieces in the show not from train windows. In this case it’s based on an area around the now rejuvenated surroundings of Kings Cross. The grubby gas towers in dodgy backstreets on the other side of the station, that I painted during my degree, are now luxury funky flats. Who’d have thought? How things have changed!

Happy sunny Friday

On Saturday, the Local Writer Showcase welcomed writers and readers to St Barbe Museum & Art Gallery. Last night, the Open Mic Showcase at Forest Arts Centre featured special guests Elvis McGonagall and Stephen Boyce.

Thank you to everyone who shared their work and came along!

We’re pleased to support Play on Words again this year. The New Forest festival for readers, writers and lovers of words continues until 28 October.
