A little bit of propagation happening today (my favorite plant task ever) featuring some Monstera Albo that are as of now available on the cutting bar along with some other goodies!

For anyone curious, my favorite way to prop Albos that haven’t been air-layered is this semi-hydro setup in straight perlite! We like to keep the bottom inch or so filled with water and of course add nutrients to the water (thank god for liquidirt lol) but other wise, this process makes propping these babies super fool proof 🥳 I should mention all the Albos we prop from are normal room condition acclimated, so we don’t even supplement humidity or heat here. I also love that this method insures the node (even if nestled in) doesn’t stay too damp as if you were to prop in moss or another traditional media. We definitely prop straight into dirt with lots of things, but with our albos we find this is the fastest to root, and overall best bet for low maintenance propping! This method works wonders for all aroids so def give it a try if you don’t want to use moss, are too afraid to go straight to soil, but are wanting more out of your water props✌️🌱 by @forpeaceandplants
