Here comes the weekend let the good Times roll, my friends. by @forrest_h_mcdonald

Today we had a wonderful afternoon of Blue at the River City Blue Society, Greg Willard Memorial International Blues challenge competition. All of the bands were excellent and each had a special quality that made them particularly enjoyable placing third Blues flash second the broad strokes and taking first place Scott Morese and the live wire blues review. I will post videos of all three bands on YouTube. by @forrest_h_mcdonald

Time is flying as I immerse myself in songwriting for my next CD. Sixteen tracks are really coming into focus, and this is shaping up to be my strongest recording yet. I’m drawing inspiration from Billy Gibbons—favoring rich tone and fewer, more intentional notes in the solos. Each day the vision grows clearer. I’m aiming to have the full project ready for an early spring release. Stay tuned, and keep the music alive.

I am so happy the deer and the groundhog left me one cantaloupe that I cut up this morning and it was absolutely delicious. No chemicals no pesticides just natures fruit. by @forrest_h_mcdonald
