**ANNOUNCEMENT**

We can't keep him a secret any longer! Introducing, Fourponds Habanero, our handsome young stallion. He has incredible bloodlines, to match his exceptional temperament. He is developing beautifully and is being started here at Four Ponds Farm, he will begin playing in 2025. Habanero has super conformation, he is compact and light in frame. We cannot praise his temperament enough, he is calm, respectful, and a very fast learner. He is light and responsive under saddle with a cool head and an exceptionally soft mouth. In 2025 he is expecting his first crop of foals with us, and will be available for stud to select mares.

Bred in England by @ukpolobreeding, he is the only UK-born offspring of the legendary Habana. Habana has over 35 offspring that were produced during her prestigious playing career with Ellerstina. She most famously won the final of the Argentine open helping score the golden goal in the extra chukka.

Habanero 's sire, Element, has had a very successful playing career with Gonzalito Pieres, including many BPP awards over the years. Habanero is the eldest son from Element and the first to be available at stud. From two very successful high goal playing ponies, he has the proven blood behind him.

Watch this space for his progress!

Checking the holiday makers on horseback today 🤠

Note to self, riding the horse that is at the very bottom of the pecking order isn't very helpful 😅

Following on from yesterday's antics... switching to riding Nero and leading Guinness did not resolve the excitement, in fact, it made it worse 🤣🤣 yes we did temporarily mount Guinness while catching him. Safe to say they were individually schooled which reverted them back to BOTH being angels 😇😇🤣🤣 #feistyoneyouare #stallionsetfail #oops #fourpondsstallions by @fourpondspolo

They can't both be angels ALL the time, that would be boring 😆 love these boys #fourpondsstallions #cheeky #fourpondshabanero #fourpondsguinness by @fourpondspolo

Early morning round up so we can use the stick and ball pitch in peace (their favourite hang out spot, obviously 🙄). Two ex-high goal Mummies, the rest are all homebreds 🫣

When your friend is an early bird 🤣 @garathmeikle
