The difference in lighting…

The first pictures shows my clients natural hair color when she came in. The second picture is just blown dry after a fresh color of 5n redken gels ran through with 10 volume, with outdoor light from a window. And the third picture is her at home bathroom lighting the next day styled out. It amazes me how much lighting can change the way a color looks.

Just a little baby trim to make a huge difference for the new year. by @fourtwentyonesalon

Merry Christmas to all of my wonderful clients/ friends. I love you all. Thank you for not only trusting me with your hair, but trusting me with deep conversations, hard times, good times, and all of the in between. I love what I do, and I am so grateful every year.

And some years it’s just harder to get everyone in the same place, so Merry Christmas from half of my family to yours❤️ by @fourtwentyonesalon

New inventory at the salon, just in time for Christmas. Thanks to @tealhouseengraving @beadisruptur and @averylalibertephotography for helping me out with these. by @fourtwentyonesalon

This beauty came in with very dark hair and wanted a little change. So I lifted a few pieces all over while her root color was processing. Then we toned her with shades eq 06RB and 07NB while her grey was still processing. The natural light was really made the red pop. Feels like fall with all the reds and carmels I’ve been doing:)

Sometimes people just get tired of their #greyhair and want a change. This gal added just a few #lowlights of #matrix #matrixsocolor 6BR with 10vol. It was just the right amount to spice it up a bit, but still grow out well. by @fourtwentyonesalon

This sweet college gal wanted to brighten it up a bit. I used #blondorwella #bleach to weave fine #highlights through her whole head, then in between each foil I did a tiny weave from around mid shaft to just off the root. Love how this looks on her natural hair color. by @fourtwentyonesalon

It’s been awhile!!!
Here is a beauty I did the other day. She was ready for a big chop, and it looked so healthy and thick after. We use #matrixsocolor 6 and 7 to cover her grey, and then added in some #highlights by @fourtwentyonesalon

Hope you all enjoy your Christmas Day. I am so thankful to all my clients that have become my friends. Enjoy celebrating the reason for the season✝️ and I will see you all next year!

Also, sharing this cute little gift I got from my husband. I’m just a girl doing what she loves in her home. by @fourtwentyonesalon

Did some #lowlights on this little lady using #matrix 4n and 5n with 10 vol.
When you foil someone instead of doing an all over color the grow out process is a little less noticeable, and they don’t have a harsh grow out line.

Another little trim that ends up making a huge difference. by @fourtwentyonesalon

I did a big chop on this beautiful client. She was ready for a change and that’s what we did. I also added some #highlights and #lowlights for some added dimension.
