Congratulations, Keisha Lance Bottoms! Georgia has elected its first Black governor, and our country has elected its first Black woman governor. What a moment to celebrate! 🙌🏾

I’m thinking about the young girls who will see these pictures and imagine themselves leading their own communities one day. That’s what makes this moment so special.

Wishing you strength and wisdom as you serve the people of Georgia. Congratulations again! ❤️ by @foylesforum

🚨 BREAKING | The New York Liberty are moving on from head coach Chris DeMarco after one season, ESPN’s Alexa Philippou reports.

The former Warriors assistant led New York to a 26–18 record and the No. 8 playoff seed. The Liberty swept top-seeded Minnesota in the first round before falling to Atlanta in the semifinals.

New York will now look for its third head coach in three years. Who would you like to see get the job?

IT'S GAME DAY! 🏀🗳️ And this time, the most important play happens OFF the court!
Today is Election Day, and I've got one last message for you.

I don't know what motivates YOU to vote.

Maybe it's your family. ❤️

Maybe it's your community.

Maybe it's the rising cost of living, the future of our country, or simply believing that things can be better.

Whatever your reason, your voice deserves to be heard!

I've spent a lot of time talking with young people, students, and community members about the importance of civic participation. And one thing I keep coming back to is this: democracy requires us to show up.

So if you haven't voted yet, make your plan and get to the polls!

And if you've already voted, encourage someone else to participate. Offer a ride. Share a helpful resource from @leagueofwomenvoters. Help someone find the information they need.

Because making a difference in our communities is something we can ALL be part of.

Let's get off the sidelines and INTO THE GAME! 💪🏾🏀

NOW LET ME HEAR YOU…HAVE YOU VOTED? ✅👇🏾

Some of the people who will change the world are sitting in classrooms RIGHT NOW.
And we have no idea who they are yet! 🎓🌎

That's one of the things I love about visiting @ucberkeleyofficial!

When you walk across this campus, you can feel the history. The protests. The social movements. The generations of students who challenged ideas, sparked conversations, and helped shape the world we live in today.

And I always wonder…WHO'S NEXT?

Which student walking these halls today will be the one to make history tomorrow?

With Election Day here, I wanted to return to Berkeley and hear directly from the students.

What issues matter most to them? How do they feel about the future? What motivates them to participate in our democracy?

And let me tell you, these young people have some THOUGHTFUL perspectives!

That's why I love having these conversations. Sometimes we spend so much time talking ABOUT the next generation that we forget to sit down and actually LISTEN to them.

To everyone participating in today's election, take the time to be informed and make your voice heard! 🗳️

Now let me ask you something…

What's ONE thing you believe today's generation of college students will be remembered for 30 years from now? 👇🏾

Día de los Muertos—a beautiful Mexican tradition celebrating the lives of loved ones who have passed. 🕯️🌼

Through photographs, marigolds, favorite foods, and stories shared across generations, families keep cherished memories alive and welcome loved ones in spirit.

Remembering those I hold close to my heart, I’m grateful for the love, lessons, and laughter they left behind. Their presence lives on in the stories we tell and the way we care for one another. ❤️

To everyone observing, may these days bring comfort, connection, and joyful remembrance.

What a performance tonight, Yaxel Lendeborg! 🔥🏀

37 points, six assists and four rebounds to help the Warriors beat the Clippers, 124–112! Coming off a tough game, the rookie responded with confidence, composure and a career night.

Those 37 points are historic—the most by a Warriors rookie since Steph Curry’s 42 in 2010! As a former Warrior, I love seeing a young player learn, respond and make the most of his opportunity. Keep growing, young fella! 💪🏾💙💛

It was a pleasure meeting some Warriors fans during Waymo weekend! 🎉 Waymo randomly selected their group for a Theater Box upgrade, and I joined them at halftime. What a fun way to enjoy Warriors basketball!

Happy birthday, Chris! Glad we could celebrate your special day in style! 🏀🎂

Ever look at everything happening in the world and think, "What difference can ONE person really make?" 🤔🌎

I think we've all felt that way at some point!

During my conversations at @ucberkeleyofficial, I met Shambhavi Sairam, a freshman from Houston, Texas, studying Environmental Economics and Policy.

And I really appreciated her perspective!

She talked about how overwhelming the world's problems can feel, especially when you're just one person among millions.

But something she said really stood out to me. Even when we can't control everything happening around us, we can still take time to understand what's going on and find ways to participate.

Whether it's learning about an issue, understanding different political perspectives, or expressing your opinion through voting, being informed is an important part of engaging with the world around us.

And that's a lesson that goes far beyond the classroom!

Thank you, Shambhavi, for sharing your thoughts and reminding us that even the smallest actions can be meaningful. ❤️

Let me ask you something: Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the problems in the world? What helps you stay informed and engaged? 👇🏾

A few pictures from a wonderful Halloween yesterday! 🎃👻 Lots of laughter, great costumes, and memories to cherish. Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! 🧡 by @foylesforum

We keep telling young people they're the FUTURE. But are we taking the time to listen to what they have to say about the PRESENT? 🗳️🎓

That's something worth thinking about!

During my conversations with students at @ucberkeleyofficial, I heard some powerful perspectives about the world they're growing up in.

They're learning how our society works, recognizing injustices, questioning what could be better, and thinking about the kind of future they want to inherit.

And I love hearing that!

One student made an important point: young people bring fresh perspectives to conversations about democracy because they're experiencing the challenges of today while preparing to become the leaders of tomorrow.

And those perspectives deserve to be heard.

That's why I believe education and civic engagement go hand in hand. The more we understand the world around us, the better prepared we are to participate in shaping it.

To the young people speaking up, asking questions, and getting involved, keep learning and keep making your voices heard! 💪🏾

Let me ask you something: What's ONE issue you wish more people would listen to young people about? 👇🏾
