Let’s fill those shelves with a little love!

This month, FPC Shares is collecting canned vegetables to help stock the shelves of local food pantries and support our food-insecure neighbors. Every can makes a difference, and together, we can help put food on the table for those in our community who need it most.
Next time you're at the grocery store, grab an extra can (or two!) and bring it to FPC. Let's share a little kindness, one can at a time!

Things got a little competitive around the office…
Our staff is settling things the only way we know how: ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS! But no matter who wins, we can all agree on one thing — Sunday is better when we're together!
Join us this Sunday at FPC for worship, fellowship, and a little something for everyone. We’ll save you a seat! by @fpc_raleigh

Where are you looking for Jesus?

Sometimes Jesus is right in front of us, but we get too distracted to notice. When you change your perspective and start actively looking for Him, you will begin to see Him everywhere in your daily life! by @fpc_raleigh

"We are freed from the consequences of sin and death for a very particular purpose, and that purpose is to be the church. The church is the place where the good works begin. You are also called individually to live a life of good works, but collectively, the church is the place where we learn that we have been made free, where we learn that it was God's love in Christ Jesus that freed us. It should be the place where we practice the good works that we will then carry out into the world."

Costumes, candy, games, and LOTS of fun!

Yesterday’s Trunk or Treat was full of spooky smiles, creative costumes, amazing trunks, and sweet memories! From our youngest trick-or-treaters to our young-at-heart grown-ups, everyone came together for an evening of games, candy, laughter, and time with friends.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who decorated a trunk, dressed up, volunteered, and joined in the fun! You helped make the evening extra special. We’re so grateful for a church family that knows how to have fun together!

Until next year… stay spooky, FPC!

Some coffee just wakes you up… and some coffee makes you want to PRAISE THE LORD!
At FPC, even our coffee comes with a little bit of joy! Come for the coffee, stay for the worship (8:30 and 11:00), and leave with a little more praise in your heart! by @fpc_raleigh

"God has given each of us so much. So very much. And as a sign of gratitude, we return it to God. Not because we ought to, but because we get to."

Celebrating 40+ Years of Love, Learning, and Service!

Yesterday, we gathered to celebrate and give thanks for Ms. Edna and her more than 40 years of faithful service as our church librarian!

For generations of children at FPC, the library was more than a place filled with books. It was a place to learn, grow in faith, ask questions, and experience God’s love. Ms. Edna made that space special through her kindness, dedication, and the love she shared with our children during Children’s Church. As a special thank-you, Ms. Edna was presented with a beautiful painting of herself in the library, surrounded by the children she has helped nurture in faith over the years. It was a heartfelt reminder of the lasting impact she has made on our church family.

Thank you, Ms. Edna, for sharing your gifts, your heart, and your love with us for all these years. by @fpc_raleigh
