As we age you tend to realise that nothing lasts forever. The bubble you live in gets shattered by realities. Some people say move on . Some say time will heal. But the inner voice says kaise? We arnt born strong. We acclimatise. We learn to put up a strong face despite fighting a turmoil inside. We give so much that in the end u are left with ntn but a souless body. Learning to trust . Learning to live. Again. Then they come into your life teaching you the meaning of unconditional love. And soon they leave . And u are again crawling back to life . Struggling and failing. With a hope they will meet you again. Maybe in this life or the next. N u live ur life relentlessly praying to get a glimse . A lil deja vu. And in that lil hope, you live. Even after all these years , your voice still echoes deep inside my heart . Faded but very much there.Like listening to your fav song on the lowest decibel. Always wanting more .Today when i saw these pictures , appalled by the striking resemblance . I can say i can see bits and pieces of you in me . I know i m nowhere near to you yet enough to be proud.I look like you. Still learning to live without you. Failing and expecting you to be around to guide . All these years I have been searching for you everywhere but inside me.Today i saw your glimpse n found it in the place where i least expected. In me.I miss you when i get overwhelmed. When i feel clueless . When i am directionless. When i am hurt. When i have no courage left. And most importantly EVERYDAY. LONG JOURNEY AHEAD . We can share the same age .
