I’ve thought a lot about fear over the course of my life.I’ve spent a LOT of time facing him.At this point, I know his quirks. His voice. His timing.He’s really good at mimicking my own voice and making his thoughts sound like mine.Giving me flashes of worst-case scenarios.My parachute failing.Landing on power lines.Breaking something.Dying.AHHH fuck. Fuck. Shut up. Shut up 🤣He takes over my body sometimes.Makes my hands shake like a Nokia on vibrate.Makes my heart double up.And the funny thing is… I can see it in my eyes here.I’m not chilling hahaha.I’m VERY scared.But I’ve been in this spot enough times now to know something important: Do the thing anyway.We’ve been talking about doing some spin-offs of @notfit.io recently to help people with other parts of their lives — and this video genuinely makes me think maybe one of them should be #Notscared.An app built around facing discomfort?Exposure.Risk.Social fear.Performance fear.Life fear.Tiny daily reps that slowly make you harder to shake?Would any of you use something like that?Some other spin-offs we’ve been discussing:#Notwell — mental wellness#Notsleeping — insomnia help#Notfocused — focus/ADHD support#Notflexible — mobility & flexibilityCurious what you’d actually want most. 🙃 by @taz_skylar
