Happy Halloween! I decided to sketch one of my Halloween characters, in around. 500x500 format to make it look more pixelated, quality doesn’t do it’s best but I’m proud how it turned out! :D by @franco.aaron_40

When does 2 am motivations kick in, here’s a somewhat rough sketch of a little comic I’ll try to do, experimenting of how I can do these cut out panels. Here’s one of my Slugcat ocs discovering a room that has an uncanny appearance in a world that’s far from what we have.

Next to the door, there’s a shelter for him to rest in if needed. The concept of this bit of story for him is that the more he plays, the more his appearance / markings on his body start to show more of pixels to present his love of arcade / retro games, like carving a path of his own.

The concept of the slugcat ocs I own, having their appearances to show up to their current one is one of those ones I felt inspired of those characters you see how they look basic, but as time goes one, their appearance slowly becomes of who they are in the future, it’s like thus for those but like, foraging their purpose / journey of self discovery of their role, but also what they like.
This oc’s name is Kendry, a slugcat who loves retro games.

An experiment drawing using Watercolor brush for the color rendering and Paper Texture brush for the overlay.
2nd slide is using a violet tent for the filter layer.
I’m proud of how the Watercolor brush performed, I’m planning to use this more to see how it fits for other styles. :)
