Prior to moving to Cincinnati it seems I had a time limit on jobs. 3 years was always my limit before the dreaded boredom kicked in and I would quit in an angry huff only to wonder what's next. Moving to Ohio was a fresh start in 2010 and it brought me to this job at Cookies By Design. Cut to 14 years later (FOURTEEN!) and I worked my last shift yesterday. I found a love in cookie decorating but perhaps an even sweeter surprise, it connected me to SO many of my favorite people in life. That is what I'm most thankful for ❤️ This emoji was my last cookie and it is very appropriate for my mood right now. There will be baked goods in my future I'm certain but for now we search for where I take my next step! This feed will more than likely turn into a general account sharing whatever whenever ✌️😄 #decoratedcookies #cookies #goodbyes #baking #unemployed #vamos #willworkforsweets #Cincinnati #cincy #bakerlife by @franilla.bean

Rough morning unloading 2 pallets into a freezer. Quickly learned I'm too old and weak to lift wooden pallets anymore. After stacking one on another and pulling them to the backroom feeling defeated, my pallets left me a gift. 😄 I should've kept it and taped it to my clipboard 😭 by @franilla.bean

Playing with heavy texture paint again. Pretty sure I need "icing tattoos" at some point in my life. 🥰 by @franilla.bean

Starting 2026 with an outrageous cold turned migraine turned stomach bug is absolutely FOUL. I pray I'm at the tail end of this nightmare and whatever witch cast this on me finds it 3fold 😅👀 The only upside is I'm now on book 2 of my 20 books in 2026 challenge. #readmorebooks #sick #takingreccomendations (I'm generally a reader of psychological thrillers, paranormal, and some non fiction but I'd love to know what anyone else is reading) by @franilla.bean

A few of the gingies I managed to do in time to spread a little Christmas cheer for coworkers ❤️ 🎄 🎅🏼 Of course mine wore the required uniform 😆 #wholefoods #gingerbreadmen #bakingfromscratch #kawaiicookies by @franilla.bean

Happy National Sprinkle Day! Sprinkles are one of my favorite things, fun and playful. I feel if I could get sprinkles tattooed as freckles my life would be complete! #nationalsprinkleday #cookies #igbakers #baker #cookies #sprinkles #butter by @franilla.bean

36 hour chocolate chip cookies underway. Six Street Recipe and though they won't ALL stay in the fridge for 36 hours I promise at least 2 of them will fulfill their destiny-- and in the name of research I will see if there's a difference between 24hrs and 36hrs 🤞🍪😋❤️ #chocolatechipcookies #meltedbutter #baking #igbaker #impatient #cookiedough #cookies by @franilla.bean
