I had the great opportunity to be selected to paint this large mural in @Broadstonearden In which I have been exploring sensations and techniques with my illustrations🏜👨‍🎨. I've selected some pictures that portray the details. ❤️Massive thanks for the help and love to @speluno @add.orozco, I wouldn't been able to finish this work in time without you guys. And thanks to the security guards that help me get down of the first crappy lift we rented that got me stuck above 15mts for an hour. ❤️A massive thanks to the head art consultant and curator @illyaharo @gbeas13 for documenting all the process As well props for the motivation words to @teddykelly Thanks again to @pandpmuseum @allianceresidential @Broadstonearden @broadstonearchive @broadstone_atlas @illyaharo by @franko.ro

🐍 Snakes & 🪜 Ladders // OFFF Barcelona 2026 We briefed ourselves two ideas. One, fully handcrafted, frame-by-frame animation, hand-illustrated artwork, stamps, and 3D-printed frames. Two, No AI. No shortcuts. Just craft. Selected for projection at @offfest 2026, screened at @dissenyhub . ✖️👁️‍🗨️I’m always fully committed to creating visual communication and concept creation for different clients and companies. Now I’m trying to show up more, put more out there. I have never stopped working, or as we call it in Mexico, machetear. You keep swinging, keep cutting through, keep moving forward. I’ve procrastinated a lot when it comes to publishing. But not anymore. It’s not what I did ﹌ it’s what we can do.

📽️ Not long ago, @yimbo8 and I had an animation selected for projection at @offfest on the @dissenyhub. Two concepts. One bet: go against the grain. While everyone rushed toward AI and 3D renders, we went fully handcrafted — frame-by-frame, hand-illustrated, stamps, physical 3D-printed frames. The second concept? 🐍 Snakes and Ladders 🪜 — the tension between AI and craft every designer is living right now. We turned that feeling into a series of scenarios. No shortcuts. Just intention. 🙏 Huge thanks to the @offfest selection committee @frameboy.studio @barco_nv and to @rapha_ferraz for the screening. #OFFFestival #Barcelona #MotionDesign #FrameByFrame #Animation CraftFirst AIvsDesign CreativeDirection ArtDirection FreelanceArtDirector by @franko.ro
So many logos and so many dreams from the people who ask us to create them... 🙌 Grateful @logoarchive @logoarchive.now I will not talk about this trend of “logos and designers” but more as a moment to thank the many people, agencies and clients that trusted me to design a logo @snasksthlm @freddiemeup @helloenigma @katalina.silva @aelenes that will eventually create some sort of revenue. A logo or icon that they have to see most of the time while at work. At this time and age, it’s time to be grateful that we are here, and that we studied design not thinking of becoming billionaires, but thinking of bringing joy to other entrepreneurs like us. Who would use this logo to identify a product, a place or a movement that benefits the world. So be grateful. Try not to work with evil entities that help convey a message of hate, racism and discrimination (these people should have the worst logo ever). Thanks. This is for us the silent heroes of creativity. Us designers. #logos #logodesign #logodesigner #logomarks #identitydesign by @franko.ro
ICON 𐄂 CONCEPT 𐄂 MEXICAN

This is a project and research I have been doing for quite some years. It’s not a coincidence that I publish this now. Have to thank @yimbo8 for giving life to the first prototype of the “Mexican Icon 1.0” . We are not resting, we are alway vigilant. So, let’s get something straight, most Mexicans I know are some of the hardest-working MF’s on the planet. (Look it up). The whole “sleeping Mexican” thing? It’s a tired stereotype, cooked up and revived by the USA media and then exported across the world. I can’t count how many times I’ve told someone I’m Mexican, only to hear: “Oh, you must love siestas!” Like, WTF? Most of the Mexicans that I know don’t have the privilege to take siestas, and if they do, it’s probably because they have a time to rest from grinding and hustling all day. But this is how the “sleeping mexican” icon began. Back in pre-revolutionary Mexico, workers would labor from sunrise and take breaks in the scorching day heat, real, backbreaking work. Some foreigner photographs from that era snap photos of people resting in a sombrero under the sun, and long story-short a stereotype is born. That image got twisted, repackaged, and slapped on souvenirs at the border towns between Mexico and the USa. Suddenly, that’s how we’re seen. Guess what? Yeah, we might rest, but we wake up ready. Ready to shoot our creativity, hustle, and fight. We are resilient, resourceful, and damn creative! More on this subject soon…. This is my thesis on Mexicans that are silent and make Mexico great, this creative people that enjoy life, and are creative most of the time by necessity. #MexicanIcon #ToyDesign #DesignerToys #StickerDesign #HechoEnMexico #RedefineMexican #BreakTheStereotype #NotYourStereotype #WeWakeUpReady #VisualStorytelling #CreativeThesis #ResearchBasedArt #MeaningfulDesign #SleepingMexicanMyth #CulturalNarrative #MadeInMexico by @franko.ro
📼🏀🎞️⚽️ SPORT 𐄂 BRANDING 𐄂 ILLUSTRATION 𐄂 Some projects aren’t for big brands. They’re have that much bureaucracy, that long strategy, or are born in big meeting room. They come from somewhere else... a pulse, a street, a flash of something fast and loud and alive. This one was like that. I got to lead the branding concept and design for Videobaas, a sports video editor out of the Netherlands who doesn’t just cut footage, 🎞️ he slices through adrenaline and heartbeats with every frame. The brief he gave me back then “Make it badass”. And that’s what I did. So we built something raw. A visual language based in a morphing wordmark that feels like a street fight meets sports highlights. A fast-moving wordmark, kinetic type, merch-ready icons, the kind of identity that could live on a sticker bombed laptop or the back of a fighter’s hoodie. Because this wasn’t about clean lines or corporate palettes. This was about energy. Motion. Attitude. The kind of branding that doesn’t ask to be seen. It makes damn sure it is. Videobaas isn’t just a name... It’s a badass label. It’s what you call the guy who edits with his gut and bleeds every frame. The boss behind the video. 👉 ⚽ 🤯 MORE ABOUT THIS PROJECT ON THE PROFILE And big love to the friends that helped push this through: @yimbo8 — the real MVP, bringing motion to life. @barbon_ai — bringing ideas in to A.I. #branding #streetwear #videoediting #sports #motivation #videobaas by @franko.ro
As we close out the year, we want to leave you with one final thought: "Good design is built through a structured rationale." From font selection to color palette, from layout composition to the hierarchy of elements, every detail is carefully considered. Even the brand’s potential to adapt across future products is thoughtfully planned to ensure strategical resilience in the many contexts companies may face. These are the enduring assets of our collaboration with Finsights—grids, core brand elements, and design systems—all working together to craft a brand that not only stands out but is poised to disrupt markets. #brandidentity #branding #typography #design #strategy #fintech #startuplife #founder #saas #behance #mascot #brand #branddesign #brandagency #brandingstrategy by @franko.ro
Meet Fin—the playful mascot of Finsights. Inspired by Clippy from Windows and the charming brand mascots of Japan, Fin brings a delightful twist to the often-serious world of finance. Representing a playful hand wearing glasses, Fin embodies the partnership between The Makers (founders) and The Seers (financial experts), infusing the brand with personality and reliability. Fin adds a lively, human touch to the brand system. This strategic choice sets Finsights apart from competitors, creating a memorable identity that fosters empathy and connection. A big shout-out to @franko.ro, the talented director and illustrator who brought Fin to life! by @franko.ro
Empowering Founders with Financial Clarity 🖐 We are excited to unveil Finsights our new brand identity project for Ebitwise, Finsights is a SaaS platform that reimagines how startup founders navigate their finances. Designed for entrepreneurs overwhelmed by numbers, Finsights turns complex financial management into an intuitive and collaborative experience. Picture it as the Figma for Finances —a digital space where founders, teams, and financial experts seamlessly connect to analyse and manage financial health with confidence. Our challenge? To craft a brand identity that balances precision and warmth, reflecting the duality between corporate-level financial expertise and the hands-on practicality needed by growing businesses. A refuge for the peace of mind of entrepreneurs. To bring this vision to life, we developed a visual identity inspired by the comfort and clarity of a mountain refuge—safe, grounding, and full of light. The logo, a geometric mark, subtly references financial tools like abacuses and calculators, representing clarity and precision. A warm color palette of beiges, vibrant orange-reds, and deep greens communicates trust and energy, while rounded serif typography blends professionalism with approachability. Meet Fin—our playful mascot, a hand with glasses which symbolizes the partnership between “the makers” (founders) and “the seers” (financial experts). From investor pitch decks to UI design and animated visuals, every touchpoint was carefully crafted to deliver clarity, collaboration, and empowerment. We’re proud to have partnered with Finsights on this transformative journey, and we’re excited to see how they redefine financial management for founders everywhere. 🎬 Check out the full project in our bio! #SaaSBranding #FintechInnovation #StartupSuccess #UIUXDesign #BrandIdentity #FounderLife #FinancialManagement #Finsights #StartupBranding #DesignMatters #BusinessGrowth #BrandStrategy by @franko.ro
