After a time consuming process, it is amazing to see the church tower stripped of its scaffolding and return to its glory.

With the lighting designer @jespergardekongshaug I have aided with this beautiful project. We are still missing the final design and programming, but it’s a joy to see that it is working. by @frederik_hougs

With Kammerballetten in Baden-Baden!

Thank you @kammerballetten and all who was involved, it is always a pleasure working with you, and helping to enrich your amazing journey.

Also a big shoutout to @rogerirman for yet again a very pleasant collaboration both on the lighting design and process.

✨️Waves by @frederik_hougs is a three-dimensional light installation where every single point of light reacts in real time by drawing on live weather data such as wind speed—from the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology.
Waves transforms invisible atmospheric movements into visible waves of light.

Inspired by Klaus Hasselmann’s research on wave phenomena, this large-scale artwork isn’t pre-choreographed: it’s a living, ever-changing composition that reflects the atmosphere as it unfolds. A poetic encounter where technology meets the rhythms of nature.

FR:

For the last 2 days the Tbilisi opera and ballet theater has been my office, working with the wonderful people from @tbilisioperastatetheatre and @kammerballetten

It was a great joy to setup the amazing show on this mazing stage, what an experience. And to see some of the amazing creations that Kammerballetten has been generating, including the performance Elephant that I have been the lighting designer for.

Thank you to all the people involved, for making this night of performance a reality! by @frederik_hougs
