We’re incredibly proud and grateful for how our hay entries performed at the Tennessee State Fair this year!

Out of 6 entries, we brought home 4 first-place finishes, along with a 4th and 5th place in the Orchard Grass categories against some very talented producers.

The Overall Grand Champion is still to be decided based solely on Relative Feed Quality (RFQ), and we feel like we have a great chance to bring that title home again this year. 🤞🏆

No matter how the final results fall, we’re proud of the hay we put up this season and thankful to be competing alongside so many great producers.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports Freedom Farm Hay Company and helps make all of this possible. We truly couldn’t do it without you! 🌾 by @freedomfarms1978

What a journey it’s been for us! We are truly thankful! After placing well in local and state level competition we received invite to compete against the best producers in the 13 southeastern states with our cool season orchard mix. It was a great experience! Even on such a large scale we observed producers with many years of experience talking amongst one another, familiar with each other. We saw farms with 3 generations present so it was easy to feel out of place a bit. As the 2025 season closes and we deliver out the last of this year’s crop we look forward to the fast approaching 2026 season🇺🇸#southeasthaycontest #sunbeltagexpo #wilsoncountyfair #hay by @freedomfarms1978

Today we laid our best friend to rest. He was near 10 and was everything the breed was supposed to be! He was a wonderful and loyal part of our family and a very fierce protector of the home. For 10 years every day I sat down the same way to put my boots on and Braxton got in my lap for a hug. Wasn’t many missed days. We will sure miss him. We were sure blessed. by @freedomfarms1978

We have some great hay available! Orchard/Alfalfa mix, beautiful Timothy 2nd cut, very nice 1st cut Timothy, a few bundles of pure 2nd orchard, and some nice orchard/fescue mix in second cut. We may even have a few bales of alfalfa left🇺🇸 by @freedomfarms1978

Back to back hay rides today for Marietta Cumberland Presbyterian Church! Each wagon was a full load and some happy little ones! FYI: church has been here for more than 130 years! Thank you for letting us be a part! 🇺🇸 by @freedomfarms1978

A lot of history with these girls. Born and raised country. It was a great time last night to head up and see @7xsangus operation, the new homestead and have some great food and music. The Vols won and my Auburn Tigers put down the #1 team in the nation! by @freedomfarms1978

Got the big seed drill calibrated yesterday and loaded with 2000# of a nice orchard mix. We hooked things up early this am, loaded up a few hay customers and headed down south to do some barn building. We would like to again give a big thanks to Josh Watson for helping us out with this big drill🇺🇸 by @freedomfarms1978
