So. 27. September 2026 Tizia Zimmermann/Lorena Izquierdo Tizia Zimmermann - accordion Lorena Izquierdo - vocals SINK Andrea Ermke - mini-discs Arthur Rother - guitar Chris Abrahams - dx7 Marcello Busato - drums westgermany | Skalitzer Straße 133 - 10999 Berlin Kreuzberg (top floor, above Fahimi Bar) Doors 20.30 Uhr | Start 21 Uhr SINK was formed in 2004 in Berlin. Though the music is improvised, SINK play, perform, sound and feel as a band with a distinct band sound. Their sound ranges from Berlin-typical echtzeitmusik related soundscapes which can, but need not, result in a minimalistic groove. https://www.arother.com/sink/sink.php https://mikroton.bandcamp.com/album/sink Formed in summer 2026 as part of Tizia Zimmermann’s artists’ residency in Berlin, this new duo with Lorena Izquierdo combines free improvisation with structured composition. In tension-filled soundscapes, sound meets words and gestures – a blend characterized by deliberate defiance. by @fromtheceiling.music
