In some exciting (and sad) news, last night was the final Track Tuesday in WA for our Captain Tom Moorcroft before his move to Melbourne later this week with his partner Kennedy.

Tom will continue to represent FR and will be around in Perth again shortly for the Perth Track Classic next month, but his energy, enthusiasm, lateness and horrendous mobility won’t be a regular feature each week.

All the best Tom and run strong!

Pretty special day out in Busso on Sunday to round out 2025. It’s not often you get the chance to take the tape in this sport, and for it to happen in WA with so many friends and family around means this one will live in the memory bank for a long time.

After some pretty nasty sickness in the lead-up, I was honestly proud just to make it to the start line. As many people know, I wasn’t even planning on racing until about 48 hours before. I knew I’d be a fair way off my best, but sometimes just as much satisfaction comes from executing and racing to the best of the ability you have on the day. Congrats to @wa_oakie for a great race and for pushing me all the way to the line.

As always, a huge thanks to everyone who was out supporting on Sunday and for the legends who have backed me this year @rafaelbaugh / @frontrunnerelite @nopinz @iamgroundedco and @safestyle_eyewear by @frontrunnerelite

The team produced 9 PB’s alongside strong wins from our Senior elites over 3000m in a cracking night trackside.

Captains Moorcroft (8.15) and Noonan (9.40) opened their seasons and showcased their class.

PB’s for Brittany More (10.09); Ben O’Sullivan (8.30); Duku Jansuk (8.51); Ben Turner (9.00); Tom Davey (1.59); Jack Cairns (2.10); Kale Gregg (2.14); Mia Cahill (2.39) and Pippa Stefanelli (2.29).

Session on session, week on week, year on year 🧱

Great win for Moorcroft at the big 6 mile with Stoner & Owen’s in 3rd & 4th.

Generation next 😤 by @frontrunnerelite

First sub 3:50. Major goal of the trip, this has been a long time coming ✅. Left a little too much to do at the end, hungry for more next season.

Something I’ve been working on a lot lately is my swim. May not have been a PB swim on Sunday, but I couldn’t have felt stronger on the start line going into the swim thanks to Paul @swimsmooth and Phoebe @phoebefreeman_physio 🏊🏻‍♂️🏊🏻‍♂️🏊🏻‍♂️

7 weeks until the 70.3 world championships 💥
