Be your original, authentic, genuine YOU!
Be in Alignment with the original You ✨️

What God creates is good...when we fake it, try to be like others, compete with others, compare ourself with others.....we become less than, we become insecure, vulnerable and not who we are. Your strength and purpose is in you to be You!

Remove the layers that are a camouflage, not real, copies and be your true self! Truth is love and God loves you, the genuine, special and unique You.

Beneath the Surface 🔎

We often encourage people to be honest and speak openly. But have we considered how our reactions might influence what they feel safe enough to share?

Judgement, criticism, labeling, anger, not paying attention or even dismissing someone's feelings can teach them to remain silent or only tell us what we want to hear.

Creating a safe space for honesty begins with how we listen and respond.

This week, reflect on your conversations. Are you someone people can be honest and truthful with, even when what they say is difficult to hear?

📢 Scams are becoming more sophisticated, but our habits can become more protective over our information, identity and money.

10 ways to protect yourself:

1. Enable spam and scam call protection. Turn on caller ID and spam protection in your phone settings.

2. Block and report suspicious numbers.

3. Forward scam texts to 7726. This is a free UK reporting service supported by mobile networks.

4. Be cautious with links and attachments. Avoid clicking unexpected links or opening attachments in emails, texts or social media messages. Even messages appearing to come from people you know could be fraudulent.

5. Research and review an organisation or number. Google will let you know their background and reports made against them.

6. Set up banking alerts. Enable notifications for payments, transfers and card transactions so unusual activity can be spotted quickly.

7. Use two-step verification. Protect email, banking, WhatsApp and social media accounts.

8. Limit what you share publicly.

9. Never use contact details supplied in a suspicious message. Contact the organisation independently through its official app, website or a number you already trust.

10. Talk about scams with others. Share warnings with friends, family and older relatives.

▶️ Pause. Question. Verify. Protect. Share.

#Scam #Fake #Truth by @fruitofthespiritjacqui

📢 We are living in a time when discernment is no longer optional. It is essential.

With so many scam emails, texts, phone calls, fake identities, misleading headlines, manipulated images, we must be more intentional about discovering what is true.

Not everyone is who they claim to be. You start asking questions and they hang up!
Not every email or text is genuine.
Not everything we see is real.
Not everything we hear is accurate.
And not everything widely shared is to believed.

▶️ Discernment. Curiosity. Questioning. Research.

These are essential safeguards in how we live, communicate, make decisions and protect ourselves and others.

Taking things at face value can no longer be our default response.

Learn to pause before reacting, question before accepting, verify before sharing and think critically before forming conclusions.

The truth matters. But so does our willingness to seek it. Check and check again.

Don't just question what looks suspicious. Learn to question what looks convincing. 👀
