For Katharin Kuntien, fondly known as Kat, the flavours of Northern Thailand are deeply personal. A sommelier, cultural guide and intuitive host, she brings stories of the region to her signature wine-and-cheese tastings, where makhwaen – a fragrant local spice – carries memories of her childhood.

“Sharing it with guests feels like sharing a piece of where I grew up,” says Kat

In the jungles of Northern Thailand, find a world made for two. Wake to birdsong, spend the day discovering the Golden Triangle, and gather over a candlelit dinner beneath the stars. Here, time together becomes the most memorable part of the journey.

Every ingredient tells a story: of the land, the people who nurture it and the traditions of the Golden Triangle.

For Camp Chef Sirintip “Ning” Sianglert, cooking is a way of honouring that story. Raised in Northern Thailand, she follows the rhythm of the seasons, drawing on local heritage to create a cuisine deeply rooted in place.

“Nature tells us what to cook,” she reminds us. “When we follow the seasons, we not only create fresher and more flavourful dishes, but we also honour the people and traditions behind every ingredient.”

It began with a vision. Isadore Sharp imagined something more than a hotel: an experience rooted in genuine care and deeply personal service. With that belief, the first Four Seasons opened its doors in Toronto in 1961.

As we celebrate 65 years of Four Seasons, we reflect on the vision that brought us here and inspires us to keep moving forward, toward a world where every destination, journey, and experience is crafted just for you.

As we look ahead, we continue to bring that vision to life, creating a world of care that doesn't just make you feel welcomed but truly known.

Thank you for being part of our story. #FourSeasons65 by @fstentedcamp
