Journey of recovery-🍃 One year filled with one thought — surviving and recovering. Grateful for those who stood by me, helped me heal, and watched me rise again. 🖤 by @ft_vishnu_cp
Challenge accepted. Challenge completed. 🔥👏 Yesterday, we said “5K this week!” Vishnu said “Done.” And he actually did it! 💥🏃‍♂️ Paranjath cheythu kaanichu! 🔥 Small challenges. Big progress. This is how the second half of my 2025 looked… The only things I remember are hospital wards, operation theatres, and unfamiliar faces — for months. Sometimes I felt like this was the end. I gave up. I cried. I asked for help. But fate had other plans. • First failed surgery • Multiple medical procedures • Second surgery at another hospital • Post-surgery complications • Emergency surgery again • Internal stitch breakage & bleeding • Repeated anesthesia • Catheterisation • UTIs and never-ending infections • Lost 16 kilograms I didn’t give up — even when I couldn’t sleep. Even when I couldn’t feel my body. Even when I couldn’t move for weeks. Then I realised… nothing will go as per plan. 🍃 A fully crashed vision board Unfinished projects Failed plans Delayed business launch Everything narrowed down to one thing: SURVIVAL But life still had something left for me. ✨ Helping hands from complete strangers ✨ Love and prayers from unexpected people ✨ Relentless care from doctors I will never forget the moment Rintu sister came to me, held my hand, looked into my eyes and said: “Njan prarthikkam… toh kanna karayanda… dhairyamayitt poyitt va.” Right there, in front of the OT door, my painful tears turned into tears of courage. Weeks later, I slowly walked back toward normal life — only to be pulled back again by infections and pain. Another hospital stay. Another cycle. I lost count of how many days, how many admissions, how many hospitals. Everything felt like a chain reaction. I was desperate. Frustrated. Anxious. Depressed. Completely out of control — physically and mentally. So I slowed down. I accepted that nothing goes as planned. I started again — like a crawling baby. Only baby steps. Healing felt invisible. Days were only about recovery. A broken body led to a broken mind. Panic attacks. Anxiety. Endless fear. I was never someone who “goes with the flow” — but life forced me to. And somehow… I’m still here. Still breathing. Still fighting. Still RECOVERING I couldn’t start 2026 the way I dreamed of. But I’m starting it alive, aware, and stronger than ever. And i know deep in my bones -better days beautiful wins and blessings are coming ..🌱 by @ft_vishnu_cp
