What does a “re-tune” on a fork damper actually mean?

It means we change how your fork controls oil flow inside.

Inside your fork is a damper with shims and ports that control:
• How fast it compresses
• How fast it rebounds
• How it handles big hits vs small chatter

A re-tune means we:
• Open the damper
• Adjust shim stacks (tiny metal washers that control oil flow)
• Change valving to match your weight, riding style, and terrain
• Rebuild it with fresh oil and seals

The result?
✔️ Better small bump feel
✔️ More mid-stroke support
✔️ Less harshness
✔️ More control at speed

It’s not just turning a knob.
It’s custom internal adjustment to make your fork ride the way it should. by @fttuned

A powerful e-bike built around the DJI Avinox motor system. Translation: quiet torque, snappy power delivery, and a super clean integration that feels more like a real trail bike than a clunky “e-bike thing.”

And because humans love a deal almost as much as they love ignoring good advice:

✅ Save 20% on the Amflow base build when you buy it through our local shop @flattireco
✅ Save 20% on suspension upgrades (fork/shock tuning, spring rate help, volume spacers, setup support, the whole “make it actually ride right” package) when you get set up with @fttuned

Don’t buy online. You’ll get a box of expensive parts and a vague sense of regret.
Buy through us and we’ll size you, set sag, dial rebound/compression, help with cockpit + tire pressure, and make sure your new rocket ship isn’t riding like a shopping cart.

⚠️ Supplies are limited and once these are gone, they’re gone. by @fttuned

Rear shock not returning on the shock dyno = the damper isn’t doing its job. Translation: the shock can’t rebound properly, so it “sticks” and won’t extend back like it should. Not a vibe.

What it usually means:
• Blown damper (failed seals, lost oil, or aerated oil)
• No rebound control or rebound circuit failure
• Internal contamination (wear debris) causing the damper to hang up

What you’ll feel on the trail:
• Shock feels dead / packed down
• Harsh ride, no traction, bike sits low in travel
• Rebound adjuster does basically… nothing

Good news: we can fix it.
We’ll tear it down, rebuild the damper, replace worn seals, refresh fluids, and get rebound working correctly so the shock actually returns and rides like it’s supposed to. Bring it in and we’ll get you back to smooth, controlled suspension instead of a pogo stick that forgot how to pogo. #fttuned #suspensionservice #mtb by @fttuned

Ripples or dents on the CSU? That’s not just cosmetic.

The CSU (Crown, Steerer, Upper assembly) is the structural backbone of your fork. When stanchions get damaged, flex, or wear unevenly, performance drops fast and safety can become a concern.

Getting a new CSU means replacing the entire upper assembly, restoring stiffness, smooth suspension movement, and proper alignment. No band-aids, no shortcuts, just bringing your fork back to factory performance.

If your fork feels rough, sticky, or just “off,” it might be time for a deeper look. Suspension problems don’t fix themselves… they just get louder. #suspensionservice #mtb by @fttuned
