POSTS STORIES REELS

One of the best things about Fuel & Fable is seeing people arrive for a coffee and stay because they’ve found someone to talk to. Familiar faces, first visits, conversations over the cars, and friendships that carry on beyond a Saturday morning. That’s the part we’re proud to have a small hand in.

This Saturday, we’re getting together for our Cars & Coffee Halloween Edition, 9am–12pm. Bring whatever you drive, grab a coffee and make yourself at home. Whether you’re here every week or haven’t visited yet, you’re welcome. by @fuelandfable

Good coffee starts with the small things.

The right coffee. The right recipe. A bit of care behind the bar.

No fuss. No shortcuts. Just properly made coffee, poured all day at Fuel & Fable.

Come find us in Christchurch.

Really pleased to see Fuel & Fable featured by @christchurchlifestyle in their new piece, “Coffee, Cars and Community | Fuel & Fable in Christchurch.”

They came down to the Black Box to experience what we’ve been building and somehow managed to capture the bit that matters most to us — that Fuel & Fable has never just been about serving coffee. It’s about roasting seriously good coffee, creating a place people actually want to spend time in, and bringing together a community around cars, bikes and everything in between.

The article covers the story behind Fuel & Fable, our coffee and roasting, Brew School, the regular meets and the community that has grown around them. Seeing an independent local publication understand what we’re trying to create means a lot.

Huge thanks to the Christchurch Lifestyle team for coming down, taking the time to get to know us and putting together such a thoughtful feature.

Artfully crafted, lovingly poured.

We source, roast and prepare each drink with the utmost care and attention, honouring the journey from bean to cup.

Come and try for yourself

This is what Fuel & Fable looks like in full swing.

Good coffee, great machines, local businesses, familiar faces, new faces, and a car park full of people who genuinely want to be there.

Last week’s Local Heroes meet brought together some brilliant independent businesses from around the area, but the bigger story is the community that keeps growing around these events.

We create, organise and host these meets because we want Fuel & Fable to be a place people return to. Not just for the coffee, but for the people, the atmosphere, the cars, the conversations and everything that happens around them.

Local Heroes was a celebration of the businesses on our doorstep and the community supporting them.

And this is only getting bigger.

Fuel & Fable.
Where beans meet machines, stories begin.

Tucked away in Christchurch, @fuelandfable is the kind of place you stumble across and immediately think, this is actually very cool. Speciality coffee, seriously good latte art and an industrial space built around a genuine love of cars and coffee.

It’s mainly the sort of place you pull into, grab a coffee and carry on with your day, although there’s space to stick around too. Then every so often the car meets roll in and the whole place takes on a completely different character. Coffee shop, roastery, automotive hangout. It has its own identity, and that’s exactly why it works. ☕️

One of those Christchurch spots that feels properly hidden in plain sight.

Last Saturday was a big one.

Our Local Heroes meet was our busiest and most successful event of the year so far, but more importantly, it was a pretty perfect reminder of why we do all of this in the first place.

Fuel & Fable has always been about more than coffee. The aim has been to build a genuine community, bring people together, and create a space where a shared love of cars, bikes and good coffee can turn into something bigger.

This one felt particularly special because we were able to use that platform to support and champion other brilliant local independent businesses too, introducing them to new people and helping grow the wider community around us.

A huge thank you to everyone who came down, brought a car, grabbed a coffee, had a chat, supported the businesses involved and helped make the morning what it was.

And a massive thanks to our Local Heroes:

Here’s to many more mornings like this, and to the Fuel & Fable community that keeps showing up and making them happen.

See you at the next one. by @fuelandfable

More than a coffee shop.

Fuel & Fable is an independent speciality coffee shop and small-batch roastery in Christchurch, Dorset — built around good coffee, interesting machines and the community that brings it all together.

We roast our own coffee, serve it throughout the week at The black box, and regularly bring together cars, bikes and good people through our meets and events.

You don’t need a special car. You don’t need a bike. And you don’t need to wait for an event.

Come for the coffee. Stay for the conversation.
