Preview of “Sins of my Father” I Think Im starting to get this Lighting stuff. by @fulbertheartist

That pivotal moment in time when Monet met Renoir when Van Gough met Gauguin, Picasso met Matisse or Pissarro met Cezanne? This was that moment in time when I met her. It was as if time stood still and God pointed in the direction I needed to go. All to buy brush soap. I had seen her work on display before I loved the playfulness the youth the abstract, realism and spontaneous nature of the work. The vibrant rich highlighter palette unlike anything I had ever seen before. All I know is I said to myself Im proud of Frida and Diego, Siqueiros, Tamayo. Fulber will not be just another Mexican painter. I do not want to paint nopales and aguilas. I want to be remembered for painting something provocative sexy, controversial like Warhol when he met Basquiat. That lightning in a bottle moment. Thats what this was. She was trying to cool down the rich light in her painting I was having trouble putting that bright strobe light into my recent series. I felt stuck. Then I met Ruth Hoague. I knew right then and there God had taken me here. To meet her. Oh and no im not going through a mid life crisis. Im just doing what I want now. The tattoos, me revamping my art because I am the artist of the art… duh. I am not here to paint what people want Im here to paint what I see the life and times of Fulber. These upcoming works are me solidifying myself as a real artist. I am grateful that you like my old style of work.
