![In December 2023, we were in a rural area of Austria to make music. Just like any other day heading to the studio, we met an old man named Mr. Spaun. He told us he was visiting his daughter and introduced himself as a retired geologist. Even though it was a weird encounter, he invited us to his home in Salzburg.
At first, we werenโt sure if we should go, but a week later, curiosity got the better of us.
Mr. Spaun was 87 years old and knew the history of Salzburg dating back to the 1940s. He showed us around the town, and the whole experience felt magical. Though our time together was short, we could not forget that moment.
We may never meet him again, but hope this music reaches him.
Goodnight, Mr. Spaun.
