Fashion and matcha have slowly started to exist in the same space. Not because they are the same thing, but because both are tied to taste, habits and how people choose to present themselves. Matcha used to sit quite far from fashion. Now you see it in concept stores, cafés, editorials, pop-ups and brand events. It has become part of a wider culture around design, wellness and lifestyle. At the same time, fashion has moved far beyond clothes. Brands build entire worlds around themselves, where food, drinks, interiors and experiences all become part of the same identity. Matcha fits naturally into that space. It has a strong visual identity, a long history and a ritual around it that people genuinely connect with. What you wear, what you drink, where you go and what you surround yourself with increasingly exist in the same world. A bag isn’t only a bag. A matcha isn’t only a matcha. They both say something about taste. Where contemporary culture meets an old ritual. /funky matcha® by @funky.matcha
