VAL DI SOLE 2008 โ†’ 2026: THE ULTIMATE SUNDAY RESTOMOD. Sam Hill. The Iron Horse Sunday. A run that looked destined for downhill historyโ€”until the final corner. Eighteen years later, Garage Bike Project @garagebikeproject brought that legend forward. This isnโ€™t a replica. Itโ€™s a museum-grade restomod: the spirit and silhouette of the original, re-engineered with modern geometry, suspension, construction, and todayโ€™s equivalents of the components that defined the era. Weโ€™re proud to be part of the story again. The cockpit pairs a FUNN KingPin handlebar with a one-off gold RSX direct-mount stem and Holeshot gripsโ€”the modern successors to the FUNN components on Samโ€™s bike when history was made. Old soul. New speed. Same Sunday energy. ๐Ÿ“ธ All photos by Kifcat. #FunnMTB #GarageBikeProject #IronHorseSunday #SamHill #ValDiSole #DownhillMTB #MTBHistory #Restomod #KingPin #RSXStem #Holeshot #RideFunn #MakeItFunn by @funnmtb

LOW. WIDE. World Champs 2026 done ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐ŸŒ Unfortunately, I hit a tree on stage 3 of 6 and managed to break and dislocate my hand and pinky ๐Ÿ˜… Taped it all back up and pushed through to the finish, coming away with 27th in the world! Pretty buzzing with that result considering the circumstances, but now itโ€™s 6 weeks off the bike while the hand heals up. Not quite how I wanted to end the season, but thatโ€™s racing! ๐Ÿ’ช @orbeamtb_ @mtb_monster_com @funnmtb @granite_design @hunt.mountain @bellhelmets @leatt_mtb @camelbak @fidlockbike @mudhugger2 ๐Ÿ“น @theunissen_thomas by @funnmtb
