Throwback to the Detroit and Chicago @rafsaperra concerts!

Both were unforgettable nights where we had the honor of sharing the stage with Raf and @bobby_kang_ . And for their first time in Detroit, we were so happy to have them in the city

Shoutout to Raf’s team for always welcoming us with open arms and being an absolute pleasure to work with.

Detroit and Chicago were legendary. 🤝🏼

Back to back 🏆🏆

For two consecutive years Furteelay Shokeen wins Bhangra At The Alamo.

It’s been a long year since our last competition, and it hasn’t been an easy journey. This team has navigated many ups and downs, coming closer and closer, becoming a family. The time, dedication, and effort everyone has put in is truly remarkable. Going first in the show order was one of the hardest challenges we’ve faced as a team, but we didn’t want our hard work to go to waste and faced it with determination to bring the gold back home.

Thank you to everyone at @bhangraatthealamo @ampal @10_mesh for yet again hosting another amazing competition and show. Huge congratulations to @ranglapunjabartsacademy & @sdkbhangra on their respective placings. It was an honor to be in such a great line up.

Lastly, we wanted to give a huge shoutout everyone who helped us on this journey.

Thank you to the Detroit Pistons for hosting us for South Asian Heritage Night—this one was special!

It was truly a pleasure to dance for our hometown NBA team, and this is an experience we cherish every year. The crowd’s energy and response made it even more unforgettable. Grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our culture on such a big stage—can’t wait to do it again!

DEEEEEETROIT BAAAAAASKETBALLLL 🏀

Thank you to the @detroitpistons for hosting us once again for South Asian Heritage Night!

We are beyond grateful for this opportunity. The Pistons continue to show the @nba what it means to perform at the highest level, and we had to bring our best to make sure we met that standard. With a goal of reaching last year’s heights, it was not an easy task, but we are incredibly proud of all of our students for learning, growing, and performing at this level.

A huge thank you to @gsidhuonline Bhaji and his team @_govxsk @filmsbyamrit for collaborating with us. Your haeek and sher at the very start set the tone and gave the entire stadium goosebumps. Your presence was felt throughout the entire process, and your kindness and humility are something we will always remember.

We would also like to thank @soorya_dholi for elevating our performance even further with the heartbeat of bhangra, the dhol.

Special thanks as well to our media team, @tejasphotos and @sweetlittlethings.bts , for capturing and bringing this moment to life.

Lastly, thank you to our volunteers and parents. Without your trust, support, and dedication, none of this would be possible.

Can’t wait for the next one 🙏

Detroit City FC ⚽️ Furteelay

This past weekend we ended our summer semester with a performance at @detroitcityfootballclub. Our students had an incredible opportunity to perform at DCFC’s soccer stadium 🏟️. It was an experience we will never forget.

We are proud of all the hard work each and every student put in this summer, and to see them perform on some of the biggest stages is something we are incredibly appreciative of.

Sharing Bhangra in our community means the world to us, and we’re grateful for how warmly we’ve been welcomed.

Until the next one ❤️ by @furteelay
