🫂♿ Future Roots Accessibility Report ♿🫂

Please find the full accessibility report for Future Roots above, or at www.linktr.ee/culture_of_care

✨ We sincerely hope this helps members of our community with accessibility challenges to better understand Future Roots and how we can best support them. It is so essential that holistic community gatherings are as accessible as possible, both financially and physically.

🌳 We are committed to doing everything we can to improve the accessibility of the site, within its limitations as an outdoor space with various terrains and obstacles.

We are really hoping to receive some funding this year to dedicate towards accessibility expenditure and if anyone knows of any funding bodies, organisations or individuals who could help us with these plans, please connect us to them 💓

If you have any specific questions or concerns around accessibility, please reach out to futurerootsfresh@gmail.com or cultureofcareevents@gmail.com

We hope to see you up on the land soon and really hope this report helps you feel more confident in joining us there 🌱

Huge gratitude to Mel @mel_bee_in_nature for putting this report together for us 🪷 by @future_roots_brighton

A glimpse into our Samhain celebration as we gathered for another turn of the wheel! 🍂🕯️

Sitting at the threshold between us and our ancestors, dark and light, feminine and masculine.

With water from our pond and flowers amplifying our prayers, a beautiful feminine energy was woven into our ceremony. 🌸

A true reminder of how important it is to tend to the land, grow beauty and create sacred portals where we can reconnect with the forces beyond and around us, with ceremony, nature and each other… by @future_roots_brighton

10/26 I had the pleasure of seeing a wonderful harpist in a magical yurt 🍂

I had the honour of co-facilitating a circle of reverence for human and more-than-human ancestors this Samhain, on a Land steeped in cross-cultural richness and deep protective power. Writing for this work and leading others in song and vocal expression has been a great gift and continues to be one that opens gorgeous little ornate doors in the halls of my practice - thank you to @thejammingbean for your trust and organiser magic, @happybelly.foods / @listeningtothe.land, @sacha_spirit and @bridginghome for facilitating ceremony with me, and to the mesmerising @rootweave, @tom.oleander and @ellywiththeharp for your stunning sonic contributions to the day. I am ever in awe of you all.

@future_roots_brighton is a thrumming hub for Land worship, resilience education and cultural exchange, nestled in the high swells of Stanmer Organics. You can get in touch to be involved via their Instagram or website, the link for which is in my bio. Blessed Samhain to you all x by @future_roots_brighton

🌀🦉 Future Roots Samhain Gathering 🦉🌀

🗓️ Saturday 31st October
🕒 12 - 6pm
📍 Future Roots, Stanmer Organics, Brighton, BN1 9PZ

🌱 Gather with us at Brighton's Temple Of Nature to mark the Fire Festival of Samhain, the Celtic New Year.

This is the time when the veil between our world and the spirit realm is thinnest. A time to call in the guidance and strength of our ancestors.

We have curated a beautiful and powerful day to channel the power of this time of year.

🎻 Meditative Music to help us access a deep state of presence.

Tom Oleander
Rootweave
Elly With The Harp
Hildebrand

✨ Community Reflection to think on what we are calling in for this new year, what prayers we are sending and what guidance we are asking for.

🔥 Fire Rituals to open the gates between realms and to build relationship with Grandfather Fire.

🌀 Our Ancestral Ceremony will facilitate us to call in our ancestors and ask for their guidance and strength. Equal parts offering and listening, we will come together to deeply connect.

Donations

In order for this gathering to take place, we are collecting donations to support those who are contributing to the gathering. Please make a donation at www.linktr.ee/culture_of_care and please do this in advance so we can better gauge numbers of attendees.

Any money leftover will be invested back into Future Roots. We are asking for a donation between £10 - £20 for this day but it is very important that no-one feels unable to access the space due to financial limitations. by @future_roots_brighton
