Huge shoutout to @nyia_ross for spending time with our students today! Nyia helped our 3rd graders crush their spelling prep and practice their handwriting skills. 📚✨ Want to make a difference in a student's life? Drop a comment or send us a DM to learn how you can volunteer by @fyifergyouth
Hey Lamoni, please remind them what they can expect at our tutoring program. Our tutoring program is back for the 2026 - 2027 school year. This year we are tutoring on Tuesday's and Wednesdays. To sign up your student the link is in our bio. by @fyifergyouth
Change a local student’s story! 📚✨ In nearby school districts, at least 80% of students are reading below grade level. We’re on a mission to change that statistic, but we can’t do it without you. The Ferguson Youth Initiative, in partnership with the Urban League, St. Louis, is looking for dedicated volunteers to serve as 1:1 tutors and mentors for 3rd–8th graders. By giving just a few hours of your time, you can help build a child's confidence, boost their academic skills, and show them that their community believes in them. Program Details: 📅 When: Tuesdays & Thursdays | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM 📍 Where: 106 Church St, Ferguson, MO 63135 📖 Subjects: Reading, English Language Arts, Math, and Science 🎯 Goal: 1:1 tutoring so every student gets individualized support and a dedicated mentor You don't need to be a certified teacher to make a difference—just someone who cares and wants to help a young person succeed. Ready to step up for local youth? Scan the QR code in the flyer, email us at info@fyifergyouth.org, or call (314) 479-8563 to sign up today! #FergusonYouthInitiative #TutorsNeeded #FergusonMO #CommunityImpact #MentorshipMatters #SupportLocalYouth #VolunteerStLouis #EducationMatters by @fyifergyouth
Full-circle moments hit different! 💚 Khaliah FYAB President in 2017, and Ameria FYAB President in 2026. Fast forward through years of growth: Khaliah, now pursuing her Master's, mentored A.T. in our girls program this past summer. Today, they randomly bumped into each other on campus as Ameria officially starts her freshman year! Years in the making, but the bond is immediate. 🎓✨ by @fyifergyouth

🎉 Meet @tc.play2much, the 2XKO Anime St. Louis Champion and a true inspiration! 🎮 I met Tisse about 3 ½ years ago through the Ferguson Youth Initiative @fyifergyouth and soon discovered his passion for gaming. Watching him dominate the tournament with an impressive undefeated streak and become the first 2XKO Anime St. Louis champion was nothing short of amazing. His journey is a proud moment for BGG and our community. In his post-game interview, he shared how BGG has lit a fire under him—fueling his passion and pushing him to take gaming seriously. This is exactly the space we strive to create: one where gamers can grow, connect, and thrive. So proud of you, Montisse! Here’s to many more victories ahead. 🔥💪 #BGGFoundation #AnimeSTL #GamingChampion #Community #GamerLife Inspiration 2XKO FergusonYouthInitiative by @fyifergyouth
