I decided to experiment with quad leviwands. Is this too unhinged for even me?

Maybe I'm just trying to channel my inner General Grievous? by @g.lovable.cryptid

I turn 37 today. Ngl, this past year has been one of the worst of my life so far– not exclusively, but on the whole. That's saying something– a fair chunk of my lore is absolutely ~SCUFFED~. My emotional energy level for socializing (mainly through messages) has been rather poor, so if I haven't been especially responsive, please understand that it's not you. I know it's taboo to post on social media that your life is anything but an incredible fairy tale 🙃 without being judged for it, but I've lost my ability to be inauthentic.

Despite how bad it's been, I look better than I ever have. I'm in the best shape I've ever been. When I'm locked in, I got the endurance of the energizer bunny. I'm the most skilled I've ever been and I've put in the time & effort to earn it 🤸. I also still haven't aged 👴🏼

I've changed a great deal too. I've become absolutely ruthless with who I share my energy with and who I cut off entirely. I've completely stopped tolerating anything whatsoever, without exception. Idgaf what someone's reasons are– if they're still choosing to be a problem or bad for me, I'm done. At a certain point understanding is just a gateway to self-abandonment and I'm not doing it anymore. I can pick out and avoid red flags like it's my job (there's a fuckin lot). I've learned to channel and turn off my empathy at will– I only share that selectively (trust me, that's a good thing; unbound empathy is NOT a healthy trait). I've leaned very heavily into the mentality of detachment from an outcome– I very highly recommend it. My intuition has become a little too absurd though. That sounds like a good thing, but it has a lot of drawbacks. I've had to train myself to purposefully stop paying attention to people and share my thoughts dramatically less (or explicitly ask consent first), otherwise it scares a lot of people off. OTOH, if you ever want an exceedingly hot take, feel free to ask for it, but be careful what you wish for.

A bad year is only an outright failure if you've learned nothing or stopped growing, but that's been the polar opposite of my experience.

Hopefully next year will be better. I will make it better. by @g.lovable.cryptid

These are just a cheap pair of leviwands. Once I get a nice high end pair, this show is gonna go dramatically harder 🤸 (@lighttoys I'm looking at you 👀)

Plus, I'm only a little over 3 months into practicing the dual leviwands, there's still so much to unlock.

Status, titles, fame, recognition, ego, attention, and validation mean absolutely nothing to me. The concept of rejection no longer registers whatsoever. I'm not competing with anyone, nor performing for anyone. I'm not trying to impress anyone. Social hierarchies are dumb AF and I'm not following weird unspoken rules that nobody has ever explained. Culture has normalized an enormous amount of garbage and I find it to be intellectually bankrupt to blindly accept and follow norms just because everyone else has. Idgaf about unsolicited opinions. It doesn't matter to me whether I fit in or not– I've never truly fit in anywhere and maybe I'm not meant to. If I need to carve out my own space, so be it.

I know who I am and external pressure will never change nor influence that unless I choose to change for myself and not others. I am always intentional. I am always genuine– if I said it, I absolutely meant it. I'm almost unrecognizable to who I was in the past and it's taken an enormous amount of effort to get here. Access is exclusive, it's not always deserved.

Love me or hate me, I'm okay with any outcome. You're welcome to whatever opinion you want of me– feel free to tell anyone else or keep it to yourself, it's none of my business. by @g.lovable.cryptid

Thank you @ula.bit for taking the photo ❤️ by @g.lovable.cryptid

I'm working on creating a flow style so unhinged, bizarre, and advanced that one day it'll be totally indistinguishable from magic. I've only barely scratched the surface and I have countless more ideas.

This isn't even my final form 🤸 I'm not even close.

@resurrection.nh always goes so hard 🤸🔥

In fact, we just shattered the last the last attendance record and it's only growing more from here.

In no small part thanks to the wonderful go-go team 🤸

People ask me all the time to use my props or teach them how to flow.

No, you're not using my props. I'm using them. You'd have no idea what you're doing (especially if you've never done flow before). Plus, you might break them, and if you're a stranger, I don't trust you to replace them.

Sometimes, I might even show them a move or two in the moment if I'm feeling really generous, but only if they seem genuinely interested and have some talent.

The majority of the time though, people want to be good at flow, but don't want to invest the time, energy, or resources for their own props. You would need to be interested independent of me– I can't practice for you and I'm not gonna hold your hand so you can build skill without putting in the effort. Stop asking me to do it for you.

You'd never ask a personal trainer to go to the gym for you then expect to wake up jacked.

I'm happy to show you– in fact I'd love to, but you're buying your own props and you're paying me for my time 🙃
