My inner little horse girl Sara who watched the Triple Crown races every year and was obsessed with horse pedigrees had a fabulous morning. I met and fed carrots to three Kentucky Derby/Preakness Stakes winners (in photo order): I’ll Have Another (2012), Big Brown (2008), and my personal fav, Silver Charm (1997). I remember watching the Derby that year, excited there was a gray. He was a pleasant fella, happy for carrots. He is the oldest living Kentucky Derby winner and I’m glad to have gotten the chance to see him@in person. Thank you @oldfriendsequine for this unique experience. #silvercharm #bigbrown #illhaveanother #thoroughbredhorses #retirement by @g8rsara

About to use a new insulin for the first time in like 20 years. Anyone have any experience with Kristy? It’s sooooo much less expensive than Humalog, so it has that going for it. 🤞. #typeonediabetes #type1diabetic #newmeds by @g8rsara
