Excited to announce a new iteration of Imago with @paquin.guillaume and @melkiorarthur 🔥 ‘IMAGO’ refers both to the final winged stage of an insect after metamorphosis and to an archetypal image carried within the psyche. Very moving experience of @zedzanzu ‘s Trans It @grecfestivalbcn in this prison turned cultural centre. May we always be free. May we always fight for the freedom of others. May we always celebrate the freedom we have. by @ga.ma14
#BTS We are officially in production week for the World Premiere of 𝘿𝙍𝙄𝙁𝙏 at @TheDanceCentre, and the theatre energy is electric. Tech week is a strange, beautiful ecosystem—hours spent plotting lights/lasers, adjusting haze/fog levels, and watching an incredibly dedicated cast map out every inch of this world. It is exhausting, rigorous work. But witnessing these artists breathe life into the space every single day makes the process incredibly rewarding. This team is leaving everything on the stage. 𝘿𝙍𝙄𝙁𝙏 inhabits the haunted aftermath of the anthropocene, where the human form has dissolved into the backdrop of a landscape scarred by its own existence. We’ve built something visceral, innovative, and atmospheric. From the complex rigging to the lighting design, everything is locked in. Now, we just need you in the house. Come witness what this brilliant team has created. Three nights only. 📍 The Dance Centre 🗓️ May 21–23, 2026 🎟️ Link in Bio for Tickets Swipe through for an intimate look behind the curtain of our tech week process. I’ve known Gabrielle Martin across the full arc of her working life, from its rough, exploratory beginnings to the leadership roles she holds now. She grew up in Vancouver in alternative learning environments that emphasized self-direction and collective decision-making, which gave her an early capacity to research, question, and define her own path. That instinct—to learn by doing and to follow curiosity rather than permission—has shaped everything since. Find out more on our website.
