When i was on my body image healing journey, I always came back to this question to put it back into perspective. The truth is that you won’t get to the end of your life and say, “I’m so grateful that I spent so much of my life obsessing over my body and trying to shrink it…”

Zooming out and taking a look at the big picture of life is so important when you re on a journey to healing your relationship with food and your body. It takes a lot of grace for yourself, patience, and unlearning beliefs, but IT IS possible to heal your relationship with your body.

There’s so much hope.

It’s a beautiful thing to realize you don’t want to spend the rest of your life at war with yourself or consumed with those thoughts, and it’s a beautiful thing to make a choice to heal.

One step at a time <3
