From her Montessori days in Sarasota to her Ivy League years at Cornell, Dominique has always carved her own path with faith, courage, grit, discipline, curiosity, intention, brilliance and excellence! After six impactful years thriving in Corporate America, Dominique’s now stepping into a new season - officially beginning her MBA journey at M.I.T.’s Sloan School of Management. My favorite first‑born, you continue to amaze me. I’m profoundly proud of you, and I’m grateful to witness every step of your becoming. My heart could not be more full! Here’s to this next extraordinary chapter! Onward, Dominique - M.I.T. is sooo blessed to have you!πŸ™πŸ½β™₯οΈπŸ“šβοΈβœŠπŸ½πŸ’ by @gabholdturns
Celebrating my Mom, Erma Lorraine Cowan Holder, born 96 years ago today on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. It’s been almost five years without her, and I miss her β€” and my Dad β€” each and every day. Here in midtown, I’m holding close the joyful, gentle, sincere, thoughtful, comical, caring, patient, talented, encouraging, and inspiring woman she naturally was, while cherishing the beautiful, unbreakable bond we shared. Happy, Happy Birthday, My Dear Mommy! Calypso, cake, a plethora of photo memories, and a splash of your favorite rum punch β€” all in your honor!! Love you with all my heart! πŸ™πŸ½πŸ’πŸŽΆπŸŽˆπŸ₯³βοΈπŸŽ‰πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’β™₯οΈβ˜€οΈπŸ‡―πŸ‡²πŸ‡§πŸ‡²βœŠπŸ½πŸΉπŸ°πŸ’” #unconditionallove #nycbornandraised #Harlem #thetravelagent #thepreacherswife by @gabholdturns

Sixty‑five years ago today in the Bronx, my incredible and beautiful parents, Samuel and Erma, said β€œI Do!” β™₯️β™₯️I know they’re dancing together in heaven, just as full of love as the day they began their life together. I miss them and love them every single day. Their love is forever, and so is the imprint they left on my heart. πŸ’ #unconditionallove #trueloveneverdies #thepreacherandhiswife #june171961 #sinceimetyoubaby πŸ™πŸ½πŸ‡¬πŸ‡ΎπŸ‡―πŸ‡²πŸ‡§πŸ‡²πŸ—½βœŠπŸ½πŸ°πŸ‘°πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ€΅πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ₯‚πŸ’–πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ•ΊπŸΎπŸŽΆπŸŽΈπŸ“šπŸ‘πŸŒŽπŸ’πŸŒΉπŸ™πŸ½ by @gabholdturns
This spring’s theater lineup has been full of incredible theater moments and I love it here soooo much!!! From August Wilson’s β€˜Joe Turner’s Come and Gone’ to the gripping storytelling of β€˜The Fear of 13’ with Adrien Brody & Tessa Thompson. Proof β€” brought to life by Don Cheadle, Ayo Edebiri, Kara Young β€” was a standout, Cats was hella FUN!, Buena Vista Social Club filled the theater with joy, rhythm, and history. It’s all been rich, bold, and unforgettable. What a season, so far! #blackwomenonbroadway #theaterdevelopmentfund by @gabholdturns
