Ooh la la! I had a very fancy Halloween! 💖 by @gabi_lexi
My sweet angels. Oh how I know you are so happy to be together again. It’s been a month without my mom, and it’s been over 5 years without my dad. And I’ll be honest with you, people are lying when they say time heals all wounds. Time eases the pain, but it never heals it. I cannot heal from this, this is something so unfathomable and I cannot believe I have to go through life without them. But I know they’re still here, especially in my heart. When their songs come on, or I smell my mom’s perfume, or when I see a butterfly, I know they’re still with me. I see them in myself, and god I see my mom when I look in the mirror. I live to tell their stories and share their memories. I love to share the silly little moments and the in-betweens. I live for them and they get to live through me. I miss them endlessly and love them longtime. I know they’re so happy to be with each other again, and I know my momma is talking my daddy’s ears off. I am so incredibly honored that I get to call them my parents, but so so heartbroken I have to say they’re my angels. So if you’re still reading this, do something for me—Call your mom and hug your dad, you just never know when you won’t be able to anymore. 🤍🤍🤍 by @gabi_lexi
