STL's ST. PAUL SANDWICH 🔥 @carry_bradshaw_ pulled up to St. Louis and asked me where to eat. I took him to Kim Van, sat him down and explained STL Chinese food culture 🥪 The St. Paul sandwich, the fried rice, Vess Sodas and why every neighborhood has its own spot. This food raised us. 🥡

Thank you @greatbigstory for the opportunity and for showing STL to your audience 🙏🏾
Special Thanks to one of the hottest creative producers @gabriellamm ⚡️⚡️⚡️

66 Plates! A new series for @greatbigstory.

Back in April I rented a minivan and drove from Chicago to Los Angeles with @fakattack, @elvinabril and @carry_bradshaw_ in just 8 days!

It was an jam-packed adventure filled with food, wonderful people, and luckily, no major mishaps.

And got to sample so many delicious things across this stretch of road from Chicago to LA (this was at the Ariston Cafe).

We averaged shooting 4-5 locations and driving about 300 miles every day.

We started the trip @loumitchells565 and met lots of other travelers

Cozy dogs at Cozy Dog Drive In.

The spot was very cozy.

the best way to sum up may is to tell you that i showed up to chaperone enzo’s field trip promptly at 9am on a monday. i waited for 30 minutes before realizing that i (a person that is chronically late) was in fact not the first parent to show up…the field trip was on tuesday.

ps - i was not the first parent to show up the next day 🙃 by @gabriellamm

It took approximately 2,400 miles in a minivan, 90 cups of coffee, 13 distressed calls to @irskdiddy, 9 days away from home, 7 helpful people (nonni plus very good friends), 3 uncharacteristic naps, 2 missed school events (🥺) and 1 very packed schedule to make through April but I (more accurately, we) did it. by @gabriellamm

ST. LOUIS FRIED RICE REALLY LIKE THAT?! 🥡🔥 NYC PULLED UP TO THE LOU TO SEE FOR THEMSELVES…

Met the crew at this South Side staple, Kim Van 🍽️ to try the famous St. Louis style fried rice and the legendary St. Paul sandwich 👀 @carry_bradshaw_ @gabriellamm fakattack @elvinabril 🤩🤩

I had to tell them… STL fried rice just hit different. 💯

We sat down, talked takeout culture, and I told them what my documentary Half Order is all about… this bigger than food 🎥 Big love @greatbigstory 🙌 #stlouis #friedrice #stpaulsandwich #greatbigstory #nyc by @gabriellamm

i remember being together on the beach in new zealand in 2006 (first slide) with no one else around and thinking, well, this is it.

and while we are often (like right now) thousands of miles apart, we’ve been together ever since.

love you @irskdiddy 💘 here’s 20 pics from the last 20 years.

ps: we should probably organize our media better 😘 by @gabriellamm
