POSTS STORIES REELS

Becka Mack writes ultimate cuteness. Every character is so lovable. The friend group is unmatched. The backstories & full circle endings are always so endearing. This ending may be one of my favorites so far. The special addition of L made me heart burst & I can’t imagine this little family any other way. Absolutely loved getting to know Rosie and Adam.

I also finished book 4 - fall with me - that surrounds Jaxon and Lennon. Another perfect pairing. I love Jaxon. I loved his growth and how shy he gets when he does something sweet and acts like he has no clue how it happened or where it came from. The friend group did not disappoint in this book, as expected, and I’m so excited to round out the series by diving into the story of Cara & Emmett. by @gabsabookworm

you know, I am just LIVING for all these book to screen adaptations. last night I started rewatching the off campus series and it’s just as good, if not better, than my first watch. I cannnnot wait for S2.

the love hypothesis - ADORABLE. already watched it twice, and same with people we meet on vacation. they are all just so stinking cute & I cannot get enough.

calling myself out … I haven’t watched heated rivalry yet. Idk how considering I adored this book and enjoy her stories sm. definitely hoping to watch soon & before S2 arrives.

what’s been your favorite adaptation recently?! by @gabsabookworm

a little reading update!

before I begin, my reading has suffered this year with my focus mainly being jewelry making. yes, I could listen to an audio book and cruise, but I get distracted (and like to work in silence). however, it has felt nice slowing down and re-entering my reading and tv era lately. I’ve missed escaping to worlds. which has led me to being involved in 4.

moderate pace & actively reading …
✨the wolf and the crown of blood by Elizabeth May. I’m happy it’s a standalone and enjoying it enough. def a little lengthy. 33%

slowly listening …
✨the ever queen by L.J. Andrew’s. I really enjoyed book 1. anytime I convert to audio, it’s bound to slow my progress. still enjoying but also ready to be complete. I may or may not be skipping the 🔥 scenes.

slightly paused // but wouldn’t mind continuing …
✨the academy by Elin Hilderbrand. I was looking for something that wasn’t a romance and this is where I landed. 30%. It’s definitely intriguing. I hear it’s a show?! Maybe I should just watch it instead. bc … will I actually resume it?! let’s be real.

as I feel like it // audio re-listen …
✨red rising by Pierce Brown. honestly so good. the second time may be even better. if you haven’t read this series. this is your sign. by @gabsabookworm

I won’t be taking the day off, but you can bet I’ll be reading the next ACOTAR book. I’ve mostly avoided the sneak peeks, quotes, and theories, so I think I’m going to go in as blind as possible and with minimal expectations (still hurting from CC3) ✨ are you excited?? yay?! nay?!

wait… It’s actually so pretty. the dragon art is stunning. 😍

not sure when I’ll read this, but I’m so glad I can add it to my fourth wing collection. 😍😍😍 by @gabsabookworm

currently reading & kindle refresh!

softly moving through the ever king and I am loving this story line so far!! I can’t believe this is my first L.J. Andrews novel. Have you read anything by her?! & if so, what’s your favorite?? I understand this is a spin off… hope I didn’t mess up by starting here.

& a little sticker refresh. my favorite shops for bookish stickers include @chillsandthrillsbookshop & @arts.by.booksnmae
check out both of these bookish shops! both have endless goodies ranging from actual books to stickers to character art & book prints.

xx tell me what you are reading. 📖 by @gabsabookworm

it feels like i finished this book recently. not over a year ago. and i cannot believe book 2 releases next month. i am so excited to carry on with this story. 🦋✨

anyway, just wanted to share this gorgeous character art by @arts.by.booksnmae because LOOK AT HER. 😭🤍 by @gabsabookworm

July was such a good month!

favorite read(s)✨ the night prince by Lauren Palphreyman & the heartstrings duet by Liv Zander. what was your fav read in July?!

starting august by diving into the ever seas series by L.J. Andrews and I already have a good feeling about book 1! 👏 by @gabsabookworm

🔮🌙✨🦋⭐️ by @gabsabookworm

shelfie sunday✨

crafting + looking for a new book. give me all of your top reads from this year (seriously!! tyia!!). I finished the heartstring duet yesterday & it was so good! I still need to write my review, but I loved the flow of the story, the lovable characters & relationships, and the poetic themes surrounding living life & accepting death.

🏝️ You’re packing for a beach vacation…

Choose one:
☀️ Beach or pool
📚 One book or five books
🌊 Romance or thriller
🪑 Lounge chair or hammock
🌙 Read until midnight or wake up early to read
🍹 Cocktail or iced coffee
🧴 SPF 50 or “I’ll be fine” 😅

Here’s mine! ✨ beach, one book, romance forever, lounge chair, midnight, cocktail, and definitely adding sunscreen.

no redness this trip! 👏
& I’m finally reading Crown Me Dead. nearly half way through part 1 and I have no clue where this story is taking me, but I’m here for it and for the potential tears.
