I have given up coffee and all forms of caffeine. I have CPTSD. My entire adult life, my brain has felt like a literal battlefield, with constant fear, anxiety and stress. I've had TMJ since I was a child. I ran on coffee, cigarettes and what little food I could afford (if any) throughout my 20's.
I quit smoking years ago, started zoloft almost a year ago now, eating healthier than ever and have now quit caffeine. I love coffee but my brain on Zoloft with no caffeine is a calmness and peace Ive never known. I don't wake up with my mind and heart racing at 2am anymore...I'm hydrated, actually getting some sleep and I'm losing weight again.

Feeling better than I have in a long time. Also smoking less weed than I ever have and and reducing alcohol with the intention of going completely sober...I turn 40 in January...I figure it's a good time to start being kind to myself, not indulgent but kind. 💪💫 by @gagedeadface

HAPPY BELATED ANNIVERSARY, LOVE YOUS!!! by @gagedeadface

From the ashes of Your Enemy arose the phoenix known as CHOKE. With the man, the myth, the grind legend Gregg Deadface at the helm. Gregg is one of the most outspoken and polarizing figures in the contemporary punk/grind underground. I feel like a lot of people overlook his massive contribution to DIY, he’s been a pillar of the worldwide grind scene for over 20 years now, chances are if you play in a grind/fastcore band and have played the Bay Area - you’ve either played his shows or gone to them. I’ve personally probably played close to 100 of them. In my opinion Gregg deserves his flowers, so even despite having a broken foot, I made my way to the front of the stage while they played at the legendary 924 Gilman St and captured this footage of them to share with y’all!! by @gagedeadface

I have been working myself to the bone in an effort to make myself the best and most awesome candidate possible, working towards a raise and promotion.

Today, I accepted an offer into my next hard earned rung of ladder in life. More money but much more work to come. FUCK YEAH.

Hard work will always make its own luck - don't let the bastards keep you down.

Sharing some photos of happy moments and my constant inspirations to be better, every day. by @gagedeadface

@ick.official, thank you for being part of my daily hydration 💕 by @gagedeadface

This sweet little boy just got home from the hospital. If your male cat is having trouble urinating, take him to vet/hospital IMMEDIATELY like we did. DO NOT WAIT, IT IS FATAL IN 24-48 HRS by @gagedeadface

Wishing a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my brilliant, strong, powerful, influential and beautiful sister, @ladystaardust . I can't believe it is already almost a year since getting to be part of your magical wedding to the ever amazing, sweet, kind, talented, handsome @simonoto . Love you both so much by @gagedeadface

Sharing some more photos from my HS graduation. Thank you for supporting me and being there on such an important day for me, Gregg. Love you with all my heart.

Also, I was interviewed for the Piedmont High newsletter/local Piedmont paper to share my story and hopefully encourage others to do commit to themselves, do the work and get their diploma.

Next year I will keep moving - higher education is on the horizon. Just the first page of a new book.

Ps. Fully aware I am an ugly crier. I am not embarrassed to share tears of profound joy. Hahahaha by @gagedeadface
