A few updates to my whereabouts through the autumn and Christmas build up.
Hope to catch you soon! by @gaia.kitchen_

✨A little bit about me✨
I've had a little flurry of followers lately so wanted to write a little post to say 🌞HI🌞 and explain a little about what I do.

I run Gaia Kitchen from my home in Shrewsbury, I have my garden and my allotment to enjoy and quite honestly in more recent years living my life in nature and according to the seasons has been the most enlightening, spiritual and grounding choice I ever made in my life.

Since my early 20s I yearned for a garden, living in London I could barely keep a pot of lavender alive with all the pollution, I used to travel home and wait till I saw green before I ate my sandwich on the train for example!

Fast forward many years and I started experimenting with seed sowing and potatoes in pots. Things really took a turn when I acquired my greenhouse in the garden. After 18 months I was finally at the top of the list for an allotment and this really changed my life. It brought me out of darkness in myself and gave me something real to focus on.

So now I share my produce with people who believe in my work, I work with the seasons and create meals that reflect the time of year we are in.

I have always felt like I was able to draw power from the earth and harness that power into ingredients, which in turn becomes beautiful dishes. When we treat plants with respect, time and patience, they provide us with what we need when we need it. The process of this and the energy you feel is magic.

You can catch me at the local farmers market, take part in my ready meals delivery scheme or enjoy my seasonal wheel of the year focused takeaways. I'm usually making food every week so there's plenty of chance to sample what I do.

I also cater private events and retreats when called to do so, I particularly enjoy feeding groups of people with seasonal nourish bowls to feel the full flow of energy during a spiritual event ✨.

So here I am, at my plot, enjoying the fruits of my labour and listening to the bees and the birds.

I welcome you along for the journey and hope to meet you soon 🩵

✨🍊🍄‍🟫🌜It's that time of year to really sink into the approaching darkness, the stillness, the smokiness of blown out candles and wood smoke. What an absolute joy it is to melt into this gorgeous season and feast alone, reflectively, or with friends and family.

My feast menu is designed to be placed on a table lit with candles, sharing light and warmth and abundance. Seasonally inspired and wholesome. To make you remember we are seasonal beings and we too can sink into the stillness of autumn.

The food in this post is from Samhain 2025 but reflects the colour and variety you can expect from this year's offering.

Please get in touch to place an order. It's been a popular one so far but I still have spaces if this speaks to you too. Any allergies, let me know!

Collect from Greenfields Shrewsbury on Friday 30th October and enjoy a seasonal plant based feast

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of making lunches for a yoga day retreat hosted by @ilybeayoga . It was so wonderful to assemble it all and bring a creative culinary vision together for a larger group of people.

Created to suit the needs of the group and excite the taste buds all round. I absolutely loved being a part of this special day.

There is another one planned for Sunday 31st January and I'm super happy to be a part of that one too!

Check out Emily's page for further details and to purchase tickets!

If you have an event of your own planned and would like some whole food, homemade, plant based meals for your guests please get in touch id love to help.

✨🕯️Samain Feast Menu🕯️✨
I'm excited to share my next set menu for the end of this month.
It's my favourite moment in the year, as we celebrate the final harvests and the darkness allowing us to retreat and rest. My menu is a reflection of this abundance, a sense of smokiness, warmth and abundance runs through this feast.
Order for one and light a candle of reflection, or share with a loved one as the night draws in. Remembering those who we love in spirit as we feast on the final efforts of our labours in the fields this year. A true time of reflection and comfort.

Please message me to reserve yours and collect on Friday 30th October.

Please let me know of any allergies when placing an order 🙏 by @gaia.kitchen_

✨Feast Menus ✨

Every 6 weeks we celebrate the turn of the wheel of the year. A feast designed to celebrate all that is abundant as the seasons change.

Here is my latest menu being enjoyed by a lovely customer who was kind enough to share these beautiful shots with me.

My Mabon menu, created on September 18th, was to celebrate the second harvest and the change of summer into autumn. A mixture of roots and fruits and floral additions. The passing of summer into autumn is one of my favourite times and I loved expressing this through food, to me it is art.

Will you join us for the next feast menu on October 30th, as we celebrate Samhain and the descent into darker months, smoke, fire, flame and warmth?

Blessed Mabon. Happy Autumn Equinox 🌻
May your table be full of earthen gifts and your heart be full of summer sun.
A time of self reflection and careful planning both in kitchen and mind as we enter the descent into the darker months.

The first Yoga Collective 🤍

What a day.

37 people, one beautiful space, and a whole day dedicated to moving, breathing, connecting and slowing down.

From Mandala and Kundalini, to breathwork, Yin and finally sinking into the sounds of the gong bath… with beautiful food, cups of tea and plenty of connection in between.

Seeing a room full of people come together to experience different practices was exactly what I hoped The Yoga Collective would be.

A huge thank you to everyone who came and shared the day with us, to our wonderful teachers for bringing their knowledge and energy, and to everyone who helped make it happen.

My heart is very full after this one. 🤍

The first Yoga Collective… but definitely not the last. ✨ by @gaia.kitchen_

Second harvest is upon us! What a glorious time of year it is. To celebrate the autumn equinox I have put together a feast to represent the earthy changes we are experiencing right now. A contrast of freshness and light, mixed with smokey comfort food. A transition time and one of abundance.

A brilliant collection of my homegrown produce at its absolute peak right now! There is nothing sweeter than seasonal eating 🩵.

Order your feast menu today and collect Friday 18th September.

Please note I am away for my birthday 12-16th September so may take a little longer to get back to you 🥰 by @gaia.kitchen_
